THE following resolutions, made by the Waimarino County Council, are published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, authorized to be raised by the said Waimarino County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of—

Stumping of Queen Street, King Street, Pitt Street, and Seddon Street … … … … £ 125

Forming and metalling King Street from Duncan Street to the Valley Road, and forming and gritting footpaths on north side from Ward Street to the Valley Road … … … … 280

the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¾d. in the pound sterling (unimproved value) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Raetihi Township Streets No. 3 Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the Raetihi Riding within the Waimarino County as at present constituted; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest and repayment of such loan being together at the rate of £4 17s. 6d. per centum per annum.

It is proposed to pay out of the loan-moneys the first year’s interest thereon and the cost of raising the loan.

I, Peter Brass, Chairman of the Waimarino County Council, do hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the said Waimarino County Council held on the 20th day of January, 1912.

WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500 for the purpose of felling, clearing, and forming the Waipuna Ridge Road into a 12 ft. dray-road from the end of the present formation near the south-west boundary of Section 7, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, to the southern boundary of Section 23, Block XV, Rarete Survey District, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound sterling upon the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Morikau No. 2 Special-rating District, comprising all the following properties: Commencing at a point where the north-west boundary of Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, joins the Waipuna Road; thence in a north-easterly direction along the north-west boundary of the said Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, to the north boundary of the said Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District; thence due east to a point on the said north boundary of the said Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, a distance of 40 chains; thence due south by a right line to the southern boundary of the said Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District; thence due east by the south boundary of the said Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District, to the Mangaeturoa Stream; thence generally south by the said Mangaeturoa Stream to the south boundary of Section 25, Block XIII, Makotuku Survey District; thence generally west by the south boundaries of Section 25, Block XIII, Makotuku Survey District, and Section 23, Block XV, Rarete Survey District, to the Mangoihe Stream; thence generally north by the said Mangoihe Stream to the north boundary of Section 24, Block XII, Rarete Survey District; thence generally east by the north boundary of the said Section 24, Block XII, Rarete Survey District, to the starting-point, including all the following properties—Section 23, Block XV, Rarete Survey District; Section 24, Block XII, Rarete Survey District; Sections 25, 26, Block XIII, Makotuku Survey District; and part Section 27, Block IX, Makotuku Survey District. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off, the interest and repayment being together at the rate of £4 17s. 6d. per centum per annum. IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Taihape Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a special loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Taihape Borough Council for the purpose of completing the waterworks in the Taihape Water-supply Special-rating District, the said Taihape Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
