And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of January in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, and the rate of interest to be paid
(to cover both interest and redemption) not to exceed
five per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid
off; and it is the intention to pay out of loan the cost of
raising same and the first year's interest.
The above resolutions were duly passed at a meeting of
the Raglan County Council held at Raglan on the 15th
day of January, 1912.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Raglan has hereunto been
affixed this 15th day of January, 1912, in the presence of—

THE following resolution, made by the Egmont County
Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendment.

COUNTY OF EGMONT.
Resolution making and levying a Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1910, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as
follows : That, for the purpose of providing the interest
and other charges on a loan of £535, authorized to be
raised by the Egmont County Council, under the abovementioned Act, for the purpose of defraying a portion of
the cost of forming, metalling, and improving the unmetalled part of that portion of the Oeo Road which lies
between the Skeet Road and a point near the southern
boundary of Section 11, Block 13, Kaupokonui Survey
District, being a length of 80 chains, more or less, the
said Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a
special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value
of all rateable property of the special-rating area; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of January in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years
and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate
of interest to be 3½ per cent.

pokonui Survey District, 160 acres; value, £2,475. Section 4, Block 13, Kaupokonui Survey District, 250 acres;
value, £4,420. South part Section 31, Block 9, Kaupokonui Survey District, 75 acres 2 roods 10 perches; value,
£1,227. Part Section 1, Block 13, Kaupokonui Survey
District, 50 acres; value, £816. Part Section 3, Block 13,
Kaupokonui Survey District, 160 acres; value, £2,475.
Section 6 and east half of Section 7, Block 13, Kaupokonui Survey District, 140 acres; value, £2,650. Total
value, £28,075.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of
a resolution made by the Council of the County of Egmont
at an ordinary meeting of the said Council held on the
15th day of December, 1911.

MOA ROAD BOARD.
Resolution making a Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, the
Local Bodies' Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and the New
Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Moa
Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the
purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a
loan of £150, authorized to be raised by consent of the
ratepayers interested, under the abovementioned Acts,
for the purpose of forming and metalling 20 chains of the
Durham Road west of the Mountain Road, the said Moa
Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of
1/18 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of
all rateable property of the Durham Road West Specialrating District, comprising Sections 9, 10, 141, part 143,
144, part 158, 146, 13 (in two subdivisions), part 145,
149, 150, 188, 189, 152, 156, part 145, 148, 14, 140, 142,
151, 16, 157, 158, 15, part 143, 153, 154, 155, Block VIII,
Egmont Survey District; 4, 2, 5, 3, 6, 7, Block XI, Egmont Survey District; 185, 186, 187, 1, 2, Block XII,
Egmont Survey District : and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in
each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six years and a half, and the
interest and sinking fund to be paid at the rate of £5 ls.
per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted special
meeting of the Moa Road Board held on the 13th day of
January, 1912.
