THE following special order, made by the Ekatahuna County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

EKATAHUNA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate for the Mangatainoka Valley Road Traffic-bridges Loan of £110.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Ekatahuna County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £110, authorized to be raised by the Ekatahuna County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of building two traffic-bridges on the Mangatainoka Valley Road, in the County of Ekatahuna, the said Ekatahuna County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Mangatainoka Valley Road Traffic-bridges Special-rating Area, comprising the western parts of Sections 22, 23, 25, Block X, Tararua Survey District; the eastern half of Section 1, Block IX, Tararua Survey District; Sections 2, 3, and 9, and the parts of Sections 6 and 8, Block IX, Tararua Survey District, in the Ekatahuna County: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Ekatahuna County Council held at Ekatahuna on the 13th day of April, 1912.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Ekatahuna has hereunto been affixed this 11th day of May, 1912, in the presence of—
