Resolution made by the Waiuku Road Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Waiuku Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WAIUKU ROAD BOARD.
Resolution making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waiuku Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £850, authorized to be raised by the Waiuku Road Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for metal-ling the Packington to Mauku Road, and the erection of a wharf at “The Needles” and construction of a road thereto, the said Waiuku Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 17/64 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Packington to Mauku Road and “The Needles” Wharf and Road Special-rating Area, and being a portion of the Waiuku Road District comprised within the following boundaries—commencing at the mouth of the Ruakohua Stream at the Waiuku Estuary, and following the course of the said stream in a north-easterly direction to a road at the eastern corner of Section 117, thence south-easterly along the said road to the intersection of roads at the south corner of Section 178, thence southerly along a road to the intersection of roads at part Section 130, thence easterly along the road dividing Section 130 to the south corner of part Section 130 occupied by H. M. Lowe, thence northerly along the western boundary of the said property to the south-western corner of the eastern portion of Section 130, thence south-easterly along the south-west boundary of the said section to a road, thence northerly along the said road to a point opposite the south-west corner of Section 112, thence easterly across the said road and through Section 112 at this point by a straight line produced to the eastern corner of Section 112 at the junction of the road and tramway to intersect the boundary-line of the Mauku and Waiuku Road Districts, thence generally in a northerly direction following the boundary-line of the Mauku and Waiuku Road Districts to the Taihiki River at the northern corner of Section 104, thence westerly along the southern bank of the Taihiki River to the Waiuku Estuary, thence southerly along its eastern bank to the point of commencement at the Ruakohua Stream, being part of the Waiuku East and Kahawai Parishes, and forming portions of the Awitu and Drury Survey Districts; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of August and the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest on the said loan to be 3¾ per centum per annum.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly made and passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Waiuku Road Board held 25th May, 1912, and in accordance with the several statutes relating thereto; and that the seal of the Board was affixed thereto in the presence of—

Resolution made by the Council of the Borough of Feilding.

THE following resolution, made by the Feilding Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

BOROUGH OF FEILDING.
Resolution making and levying Special Rate.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the Feilding Borough Council held on the 30th day of April, 1912, the following resolution was duly passed, and confirmed on the 30th day of May, 1912:—
In pursuance and exercise of powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the Public Health Act, 1908, and their amendments, and of all other powers and authorities enabling it in that behalf, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,340, authorized to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council, under warrant dated 25th day of March, 1912, from the Minister of Public Health, for the purpose of extending the drainage system of the Borough of Feilding, the Feilding Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 13/128 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The cost of raising the loan and the interest for the first year to be paid out of the said loan.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the resolution confirmed on the 30th day of May, 1912.

GISBORNE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate.—The Gisborne Storm-water Drainage Loan, 1912, of £5,250.
NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution was passed at a meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 28th day of May, 1912:—
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £5,250, authorized to be raised by the said Gisborne Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of storm-water drainage, the said Gisborne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Gisborne, comprising the whole of the Borough of Gisborne as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 48, of the 9th June, 1904, folio 1490; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and the 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Gisborne Borough Council held on Tuesday, the 28th day of May, 1912.
