Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majestyβs Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of May, 1912.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the Valuation of Land Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint, as from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the persons mentioned in the Schedule hereto to be members of the Assessment Court for the special districts set opposite the name of each respectively.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that
THOMAS JOYCE,
being a person holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at Woodend, is authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.
