Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That the land, or any part thereof, shall be leased by the Board, under Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909.”

REGULATION NO. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Tangairo Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That the land, or any part thereof, shall be leased by the Board, under Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Taumatapatiti No. 3 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

REGULATION NO. 48.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Mangawhariki No. 6 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa, on Saturday, the 25th day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That a lease of the said land be granted to John Richmond Hale, of Tokomaru Bay, contractor, for the term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government capital value of the said land, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION NO. 48.
THE Maori Land Board of the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Mangawhariki No. 6 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa, on Saturday, the 25th day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That the said land be leased to Ruka Haenga for a term of forty-two years, with a right to the Native owners, if they wish to farm the land, to re-enter at the end of twenty-one years. Rent for the first twenty-one years to be 5. per cent. on the Government capital value, and for the balance of the term 5 per cent. on the unimproved value of the land. If re-entry made at the end of first twenty-one years’ valuation to be paid for improvements. Lease to contain usual covenants.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Mangawhariki No. 6 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tuparoa, on Saturday, the 25th day of May, 1912, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—
“That a lease of the said block be granted to Te Hau Konatu for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of not less than £5 per centum on the present Government valuation, with right to renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of £5 per centum on the then Government unimproved valuation, with right to compensation for improvements.”

NOTICE is hereby given that written tenders will be received at the office of the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board, at Gisborne, up to 4 p.m. on Monday, the 10th day of June, 1912, for leases of the undermentioned lands, for a period of twenty-one years, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, under the provisions of the Native Land Act, 1909, and the regulations made thereunder.
