Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Paraumu No. 1 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Waiomatatini, on Monday, the 27th day of May, 1912, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

“That a lease of Paraumu No. 1 Block be granted to Nepia Mahuika, of Tuparoa, for a term of forty-two years, at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government capital value of the land for the first twenty-one years. If the owners wish to farm the land for themselves at the end of the twenty-one years they may re-enter on payment of valuation for improvements. If no re-entry, rent for remaining twenty-one years to be 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land. Lease to contain usual covenants.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Paraumu No. 3 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Waiomatatini, on Monday, the 27th day of May, 1912, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Paremeta No. 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tolaga Bay, on Friday, the 31st day of May, 1912, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:

“(1.) That the land, or any part thereof, shall be leased by the Board under Part XVI of the said Act.

“(2.) That 5 acres, part of the said block, shall be vested in the Board for sale under Part XIV of the Act.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Tuawhatu No. 1B2 No. 2B Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Whangara, on Saturday, the 1st day of June, 1912, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

“(1.) That the land, or any part thereof, shall be vested in the Board for leasing under Part XIV of the above Act; or, in the alternative

“(2.) That the land, or any part thereof, shall be leased by the Board under Part XVI of the above Act; or, in the alternative

“(3.) That the owners of the land, or any part thereof, shall become incorporated under Part XVIII of the above Act.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Makahi Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay, on Thursday, the 23rd day of May, 1912, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:

“For a lease to Madeline Smith, wife of William Alexander Smith, of Tokomaru Bay, contractor, for the term of twenty-one years, at the yearly rental of 5s. per acre for the first seven years, 6s. per acre for second seven years, and 7s. per acre for last seven years, with right of renewal for a further period of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of land.”
