five of the Fisheries Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the said regulations by adding to clause one thereof the following proviso, namely :—
“ Provided that it shall be lawful for any person to take, buy, sell, expose for sale, or have in possession any blue cod, when cleaned—that is, when headed and gutted—of a weight not less than eleven ounces.”

Authorizing the Otago Harbour Board to reclaim Land in Otago Harbour.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twentieth day of April, 1912.
Present :
THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by the one-hundred-and-fifty-eighth section of the Harbours Act, 1908 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that where a Harbour Board is desirous of executing or constructing upon lands vested in such Board or upon lands of the Crown any harbour-works of such a nature that the same could, but for this section, only be carried out and executed under the authority of a special Act, the Board may apply to the Governor in Council for a special order, and, if the Governor in Council thinks fit, such order may be made and granted :
And whereas the Otago Harbour Board (hereinafter called “the Board”) is desirous of reclaiming from the sea certain land in Otago Harbour, and the said harbour-works are of such a nature as aforesaid, and the Board has applied to the Governor in Council for a special order authorizing the execution of the said harbour-works :
And whereas the conditions precedent to the granting of a special order prescribed by the said Act have been duly performed and observed, and it appears expedient that such order should be made :
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize and empower the Board to reclaim from the sea in Otago Harbour all the lands shown coloured red on plan marked M.D. 3834 and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, and the construction of rubble retaining-wall in connection therewith; such reclamation to be carried out and constructed in accordance with plan marked M.D. 3834, subject to the provisions of the said Act; and the said harbour-works shall be completed within the period of ten years computed from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

Authorizing the Tamaki West Road Board to reclaim Land in Auckland Harbour.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of April, 1912.

THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by the forty-second section of the Harbours Amendment Act, 1910 (hereinafter called “the said Act”), that the Governor may from time to time, by Order in Council, authorize any local authority to reclaim areas not exceeding five acres in extent in any case where he considers that the reclamation will not affect navigation and is for the benefit of the public; and in such case it shall not be necessary to obtain a special Act :
And whereas the Tamaki West Road Board (hereinafter called “the Board”) has applied to the Governor in
Council for authority to reclaim certain land, in area one rood four perches, from the sea in Auckland Harbour, for an approach to the wharf at Pipimea Head, and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act has deposited a plan in the office of the Marine Department, at Wellington, marked M.D. 3838, showing the area of the land to be reclaimed and the manner in which it is proposed to construct the reclamation :
And whereas it has been made to appear to the Governor in Council that the proposed work will not be or tend to the injury of navigation, and is for the benefit of the public :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the said Act, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby authorize the Board to reclaim certain land from the sea in Auckland Harbour, for an approach to the wharf at Pipimea Head, as shown on plan marked M.D. 3838; such reclamation to be carried out and constructed in accordance with plan marked M.D. 3838, subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Extending Time for holding First Election and First Meeting, Runanga Borough.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of April, 1912.

THE HONOURABLE T. MACKENZIE, F.R.G.S., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, constituting the Borough of Runanga, it is provided that the first election of Mayor and Councillors of the said borough shall be held on Saturday, the fourth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and that the first meeting of the Council of the said borough shall be held on Saturday the eleventh day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve: And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding the said first election and first meeting as hereinafter mentioned :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the aforesaid first election and first meeting, and doth hereby order and declare that the first election of Mayor and Councillors of the Borough of Runanga shall be held on Saturday, the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and that the first meeting of the Council of the said borough shall be held on Saturday, the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, at seven o’clock in the afternoon, at the Miners’ Hall, Runanga.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
