in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of artillery stables, gun and drill shed, and defence quarters in the City of Nelson; and I do hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

A. R. P. 1 0 0·4 Section 121 and part Section 120 (Block VI) City of Nelson P.W.D. 31524 Green border.

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the Public Works Act, 1908, for scenic purposes in Block II, Orari Survey District:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:

And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for scenic purposes; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the fifth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourteenth day of the same month, regulations were made prescribing the weight at which blue cod may be taken, bought, sold, exposed for sale, or kept in possession:

And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section
