Defining the Middle-line of a Further Portion of the Catlin's-Seaward Bush Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS a further portion of the Catlin's-Seaward Bush Railway—namely, from a point near the confluence of the Tahakopa and Maclennan Rivers to near the confluence of Back Creek and Tahakopa River (hereinafter termed "the said railway")—is a railway the construction of which is authorized by the Railways Authorization Act, 1911 : And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain the said railway :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Railways Authorization Act, 1911, and in exercise of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point on the road opposite Section No. 10, Block XV, Rimu Survey District, which point is marked 37 miles, and is the terminal point of the railway described in the Proclamation dated the 19th day of May, 1910, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 50, of the 26th day of May, 1910; proceeding thence generally in a north-westerly direction for a distance of about 4 miles 47 chains, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands —namely, Sections Nos. 16, 14, and 15, Block XV, Rimu Survey District ; Sections Nos. 12, 11, 10, 9, 6, 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block XIV, Rimu Survey District : including all adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses : all in the Land District of Otago: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 31604, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies ; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and twelve.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Suburban North Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Wakapuaka Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work. to wit, for the purposes of artillery stables. gun and drill shed. and defence quarters in the City of Nelson :
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth :
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act :
