WOODVILLE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and their respective amendments, the Woodville Borough Drainage Empowering Act, 1910, and all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Woodville Borough Council hereby resolves: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Woodville Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of advancing to owners of properties within the drainage-area of the borough, as hereinafter defined, the cost of making house connections with the sewerage system of the borough, and of supplying the necessary fittings for the same, the said Woodville Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in that portion of the Borough of Woodville bounded on the north by Sowry Road, on the east by Pinfold Road, again on the north by Vogel Street, again on the east by Rural Section 70, on the south by the Mangataua Creek to where it impinges on the southern boundary of Section 75, and thence by Rural Sections 76 and 117, on the west by Rural Section 123, again on the north by Rural Section 120, and again on the west by Rural Sections 120 and 8; such rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty years, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and 31st day of December in each and every year during that period, or until such time as the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted special meeting of the Woodville Borough Council held on the 11th day of January, 1912.

TARANAKI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Taranaki County Council held on the 8th day of January, 1912.

THE following resolution, made by the Waipu County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WAIPU COUNTY COUNCIL.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Waipu County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Waipu County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the building of a bridge over the Waipu River at Rotokautuku, the said Waipu County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Rotokautuku Bridge Special-rating District, comprising the lands defined in the Schedule hereto; and such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 3½ per cent.

WAVERLEY TOWN BOARD.
Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Town District of Waverley taken on the 9th day of January, 1912, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £1,200 for the purpose of the installation of a lighting system for the Township of Waverley, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 34, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 34. I therefore declare that the proposal was not carried.
