MACKENZIE COUNTY COUNCIL.
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 31 of the Counties Act, 1908, the Mackenzie County Council, on the petition of a majority of the ratepayers of the Opuha Road District, resolves by way of special order that, on and after the 30th day of March, 1912, the said road district shall be merged in the Mackenzie County, and the Board thereof abolished.
I hereby certify that the above special order merging the Opuha Road District in the Mackenzie County, and abolishing the Opuha Road Board, has been duly made by the Mackenzie County Council.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.
Resolution making Special Rate.—Copy of a Resolution passed by the Waitomo County Council at a Meeting held on the 18th day of December, 1911.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of widening and metalling the Hangatiki-Waitomo-Ruakuri-Caves Road, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. and 3/16 of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property within the Hangatiki-Waitomo-Ruakuri-Caves Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of Section 2, Kinohaku East 1b4b No. 8, 1b4b No. 7 of Block XIII, Orahiri Survey District; Kinohaku East 1b4b No. 6, Sections 1, 4a, 5, 6, 7, 4, Hauturu East 1e5c2d1, 1e5c2d3 of Block XIV, Orahiri Survey District; Hauturu East 1e5c1, 1e5a, 1e No. 2, 1e5c2d2, 1e5c2e, part No. 1a, part 6, 3, 1, and 11, Accommodation Reserve, Caves Reserve, part Hauturu B No. 2c, Hauturu East B No. 2a, No. 1, and No. 2 of Block X, Orahiri; Hauturu East 1e5c2, part Piha No. 1 (Hauturu East 1e5c), 2b4, 2b5, Section Reserve 2b6, 2b3, parts 2a1, 2b2, part Hauturu East 1e5c2a2, Hauturu East 1e, No. 2 No. 3b, No. 2 No. 4b, and 2, Sections Crown Land, of Block XI, Orahiri Survey District; Hauturu East No. 2 No. 3a, part Hauturu East No. 2 No. 2, (P.H.) Pukeroa-Hangatiki No. 1a, Pukeroa-Hangatiki 1b No. 2c, of Block XII, Orahiri; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on 18th December, 1911.
