MOA ROAD BOARD.

Resolution making a Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the
Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and the New
Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Moa
Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the
purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a
loan of £2,700, authorized to be raised by consent of the
ratepayers interested, under the above-mentioned Acts,
for the purpose of erecting a ferro-concrete bridge over
the Manganui River on the Bristol Road, and forming
and metalling the Bristol Road from the Kaimata Road
westward, the said Moa Road Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 15/16 of a penny in the pound upon
the rateable value of all rateable property of the Bristol
Road East Special-rating District, comprising Sections 8,
10, 6, 3, 4, 7 (in two subdivisions), 2 (in two subdivisions),
1, 9, 11, 5, Block XIV, Waitara Survey District; Sec-
tions 11, 8, 10, 7, 3, 6, 5, 12, 2, 1, 4, Rimutautika Survey
District; Sections 5, part 20, 3, 4, Block II, Huiroa Survey
District; Sections 18, 9, Block I, Huiroa Survey District:
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring
rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year
during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-
six years and a half, and the interest and sinking fund to
be paid at the rate of 4⅞ per centum per annum, or until
the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct

Resolution made by the Upper Hutt Town Board.

Town Board, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendment.

UPPER HUTT TOWN DISTRICT.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendments, the Upper Hutt Town Board hereby resolves
as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interests
and other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised
by the Upper Hutt Town Board, under the Public Works
Amendment Act, 1910, for the payment of claims under
section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, the said Upper
Hutt Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate
of 1/22 of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of
all rateable property of the Upper Hutt Town District;
and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the 1st day of April in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of forty years, or
until such loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
adopted at a special meeting of the Upper Hutt Town
Board held on the 1st day of February, 1912, and was duly
confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the said Board held
on the 29th day of February, 1912.

Hutt.

THE following resolution, made by the Lower Hutt
Borough Council, is published in accordance with
the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and
its amendment.

LOWER HUTT BOROUGH COUNCIL.

Ten per Cent. Additional Loan re £10,000 Drainage Loan,
1910.

WHEREAS by a poll of the ratepayers (including all other
persons entitled to vote on proposals to raise loans) taken
on the 1st December, 1909, the Lower Hutt Borough Coun-
cil was authorized to raise a loan of £10,000 from the
Minister of Finance, under Part II of the Local Bodies’
Loans Act, 1908, to be applied to the construction of
(1) sewerage-drainage works, £9,000, and (2) £1,000 for
surface-drainage works, within the Borough of Lower
Hutt, and acting under the authority of section 2 of the
Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the said loan
was duly paid to the Council by the Minister aforesaid:
And whereas it is found that the loan of £10,000 is insuffi-
cient to complete the works in respect to which the loan
was granted, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby re-
solves to apply to the Minister, under the provisions of
section 2 (c) of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act,
1910, for an additional loan of £1,000, equalling 10 per
centum of the original loan, for a period of forty-one
years, at the rate of interest of 3½ per centum per annum,
such additional loan to be applied to the completion of the
works for which the original loan was raised:

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendments, the Lower Hutt Borough Council hereby re-
solves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the
interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, being 10 per
cent. of the original loan of £10,000, authorized to be
raised by the Lower Hutt Borough Council, under the
above-mentioned Act, for the construction and provision
of sewerage and surface drainage works, the said Lower
Hutt Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of 1/80 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable
value (upon the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable
property of the whole of the Borough of Lower Hutt; and
that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly
on the 4th day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct
copy of a resolution passed by the Lower Hutt Borough
Council on the 11th day of March, 1912.

Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the
purpose of providing for the repayment of the loan of
£5,000, and the interest thereon, by periodical payments
as required by the New Zealand State-guaranteed Ad-
vances Act, 1909, and the charges and expenses incident
thereto or connected therewith, which loan was authorized
to be raised by the St. Aubyn Town Board, under the Local
Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof,
for the following purposes—namely, regrading, forming,
metalling streets, kerbing, making footpaths and culverts
within the Town District of St. Aubyn—the St. Aubyn
Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of
