THE following resolution, made by the Inglewood Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

BOROUGH OF INGLEWOOD.
Resolution making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Inglewood Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £630, authorized to be raised by special order, under the above-mentioned Acts, and by virtue of a Warrant dated the 12th day of September, 1911, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, in terms of section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purpose of providing the Inglewood Borough Council’s share of the cost of constructing bridges in the Taranaki County, Taranaki Land District, over the respective rivers on the Mountain Road between Inglewood and Tariki, and called the Ngatoro, Ngatora-iti, Maketawa, and Waitepuke Bridges, the said Inglewood Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/17 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Inglewood; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, and the interest and sinking fund to be at the rate of 4⅞ per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Inglewood Borough Council held on the 3rd day of January, 1912.

Resolution made by the Frankton Town Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Frankton Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

FRANKTON TOWN BOARD.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Frankton Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £5,000, authorized to be raised by the Frankton Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of forming, grading, channelling, metalling, improving, kerbing, asphalting, surface draining, and general maintenance of roads, streets, and footpaths within the boundaries of Frankton Town District, the said Frankton Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Frankton Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

THE following resolution, made by the Eureka Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

EUREKA DRAINAGE BOARD.
Resolution making Special Rate.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Eureka Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Eureka Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for deepening, widening, and straightening natural watercourse, the said Eureka Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special-rating area comprising Sections 160, 161, 162, 227, and 228, Block IV, Hamilton Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. It is the intention of the Eureka Drainage Board to pay out of the said loan the cost of raising the loan.
The above resolution was duly passed at a special meeting of the Eureka Drainage Board held on 4th day of January, 1912.

BOROUGH OF NEW PLYMOUTH.
£12,000 Special Loan.
I, FELIX TEMPLEMAN BELLRINGER, Town Clerk of the Borough of New Plymouth, do hereby certify that at a special meeting of the New Plymouth Borough Council held on the 9th day of November, 1911, the resolution hereunder written was passed. I also certify that the resolution hereunder was also submitted to a meeting of the Council held on the 11th day of December, 1911, and was duly confirmed.
Resolution.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the New Plymouth Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £12,000, authorized to be raised by the New Plymouth Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for providing additions and extensions to the electric lighting either within or without the borough, and to supply electricity, and to acquire in connection with such additions and extensions lands, easements, and appurtenances, and buildings, engines, machinery, and other things; to pay compensation to any person injuriously affected; and for any other purpose incidental to or in relation to any of the above purposes, the said New Plymouth Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound on the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the said borough: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of eleven years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
