Description of Portion of Reserve changed.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being part of Section 79A, Town of Hector. Bounded towards the north-east by Greenfield Street, 204·2 links; towards the south-east by Pitt Street, 116·9 links; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the north-east boundary, 223·7 links; and towards the north-west by the road along the coast of Tasman Sea: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5923/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Changing the Purpose of Portions of a Reserve in the Town of Reefton, Nelson Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the seventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, have been duly complied with in respect of the parcels of land described in Part II of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before Parliament, as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Parliament has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purpose of the portions of the reserve described in Part II of the Schedule hereto from that specified in Part I to those specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said portions of the reserve described in Part II of the said Schedule.

PART I.
Description and Purpose of Original Reserve.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 3 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section 1318, Town of Reefton. Bounded towards the north by William Street, 1100 links; towards the east by Donovan Street, 1168·7 links; towards the south by Shiel Street, 1100 links; and towards the west by Bridge Street, 1168·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5444/18, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Set apart as a reserve for public utility in the Nelson Provincial Gazette No. 24, of the 5th day of August, 1875.

Descriptions of Portions of Reserve changed and Purposes to which dedicated.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 27 perches, more or less, being Section 1339, Town of Reefton. Bounded towards the west by Bridge Street, 371·5 links; towards the north and east by part of Section 1318, 314·7 links and 371·5 links respectively; and towards the south by the abutment of a road and by Section 1340, 25 links and 289·7 links respectively: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5532/1A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Site for a Lands and Survey Office.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section 1340, Town of Reefton. Bounded towards the west by Bridge Street, 172·4 links; towards the north by Section 1339, 289·7 links; towards the east by a road, 172·4 links; and towards the south by Section 1341, 289·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5532/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Site for a Courthouse.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Section 1341, Town of Reefton. Bounded towards the west by Bridge Street, 241·4 links; towards the north by Section 1340, 289·7 links; towards the east by a road, 241·4 links; and towards the south by Shiel Street, 289·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5532/1C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Site for a post and telegraph office.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Section 1342, Town of Reefton. Bounded towards the south by Shiel Street, 186·7 links; towards the west by a road, 150 links; towards the north by part of Section 1318, 186·7 links; and towards the east by Section 1343, 150 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5532/1D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Site for a school of mines.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 36 perches, more or less, being Section 1343, Town of Reefton, and being a block of land 150 links square. Bounded towards the south by Shiel Street, from a point in continuation of the west side of Ross Street; towards the west by Section 1342; and towards the north and east by Section 1318: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5444/15, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Site for a mechanics’ institute.

Bounded towards the north by Esk Street, 367·4 links; towards the east by the Invercargill Athenæum Reserve, 101·5 links; again towards the north by the said Athenæum Reserve, 132·6 links; again towards the east by Dee Street, 297 links; towards the south by Invercargill Athenæum Reserve, 132·6 links; again towards the east by the said Athenæum Reserve, 83·5 links; and towards the south-west and west generally by the Crescent, 651 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5506/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
Set apart as a reserve for public offices or for the purpose of other public buildings for use of the General Government of the Colony.
