PART II.

Description of Portion of Reserve changed.

All that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8 perches, more or less, being Allotment No. 18 of Section 19, Town of Hawera. Bounded towards the north by Allotment No. 17 of said Section 19, 213 links; towards the east by Albion Street, 141 links; towards the south by part Section 18, Town of Hawera, 213 links; and towards the west by Allotment No. 10 of Section 19 aforesaid, 141 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5507/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

PART III.

Purpose to which Portion of Reserve changed.

Site for a drill-shed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in Block VIII, Arapawa Survey District, Marlborough Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the seventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, have been duly complied with in respect of the land described in Part II of the Schedule hereto: And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published for four consecutive weeks, and laid before Parliament, as provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas no resolution of either House of Parliament has been passed that such House does not concur in the intention declared in any such notice:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in Part II of the Schedule hereto from that named in Part I to that named in Part III of the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE.

PART I.

Description and Purpose of Original Reserve.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 77 acres, and being Section 131, Queen Charlotte Sound, situated in Block VIII, Arapawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west, 6100 links, by Queen Charlotte Sound; towards the east, 4100 links, by Tory Channel; and towards the south-west, 3946 links, by a public road, Small Grazing-run No. 153, and Section 43, Block VIII, Arapawa Survey District: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on plan marked L. 5513/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Reserved for purposes of public utility by notification in Marlborough Provincial Gazette No. 88, of the 22nd December, 1864.

PART II.

Description of Portion of Reserve changed.

All that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section 131, Queen Charlotte Sound, Block VIII, Arapawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west, 400 links, by Queen Charlotte Sound; towards the east, 420 links, by Tory Channel; and towards the south-west, 350 links, by other portion of Section 131 aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5513/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Site for a lighthouse.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 27 perches, more or less, being part of Section 79A, Town of Hector. Bounded towards the south-east by Pitt Street, 100 links; towards the south-west by the road along the right-hand bank of the Ngakawau River, 150 links; towards the north-west by the road along the coast of Tasman Sea, 107ยท7 links; and towards the north-east by a line parallel to the south-westward boundary, 190 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5553/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Site for a public library.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
