Declaring Portion of Road in the Waipawa County to be a County Road.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of December, 1911.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, BART.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Waipawa County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, known as the Wakarara to Makaretu North Block Road, commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 11, Block XIII, Wakarara Survey District, being a distance of about 45 chains, more or less, from the south-eastern corner of the said Section 11, and proceeding thence generally in a south-westerly direction along the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 11, through Section 12, and terminating at a point in Forest Reserve, Block XIII, Wakarara Survey District, about 1 mile from the south-western boundary of the said Section 12, a total distance of 3 miles 65 chains, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30680, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A B.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Waikohu County, known as the Wharekopae-Otoko Road, commencing at its junction with the main road from Otoko to Rakauroa, and proceeding thence in a south-westerly direction generally, passing through Section 1, and forming the western boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District; thence in a south-easterly direction generally forming the south-western and southern boundary of the said Section 4 and the south-western boundary of Section 5, Block IV, Ngatapa Survey District, terminating at the southernmost corner of the said Section 5, being a distance of 4 miles 33 chains, or thereabouts: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30831, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and marked A B.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Ponehu Domain.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of December, 1911.

Present:

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such Domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and four, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and four, a Domain Board was appointed to control the Ponehu Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was appointed expired on the twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven:
