shall be read as part of the regulations first hereinbefore mentioned, and shall have effect on and after the date of publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

SCHEDULE.

  1. ANY officer in the Clerical Division below the Sixth Class who passes or who has passed the Senior Examination (excluding the Matriculation Examination of the University of New Zealand and not including the Senior Technical Examination of the Post and Telegraph Department as an equivalent of the Senior Examination) shall be granted a double increment: Provided that such increment shall not take effect to increase the salary beyond the maximum of the class in which the officer is included, except in respect of officers in the Eighth Class; also provided that the conduct of the officer has been satisfactory, and he is otherwise favourably reported upon.

Declaring Road in Block II, Hunua Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of December, 1911.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, BART.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
