Resolution made by the Council of the Borough of Inglewood.

THE following resolution, made by the Inglewood Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

BOROUGH OF INGLEWOOD.
Resolution making a Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Inglewood Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £630, authorized to be raised by special order under the above-mentioned Acts, and by virtue of a Warrant dated the 12th day of September, 1911, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, in terms of section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purpose of providing the Inglewood Borough Council’s share of the cost of constructing bridges in the Taranaki County, Taranaki Land District, over the respective rivers on the Mountain Road between Inglewood and Tariki, and called the Ngatoro, Ngatora-iti, Maketawa, and Waitepuke Bridges, the said Inglewood Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/18 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the Borough of Inglewood; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, and the interest and sinking fund to be at the rate of 4⅞ per centum per annum, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Inglewood Borough Council held on the 15th day of November, 1911.

Resolution made by the Council of the Borough of Waikouaiti.

THE following resolution, made by the Waikouaiti Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WAIKOUAITI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Resolution making and levying a Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waikouaiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £9,000, authorized to be raised by the Waikouaiti Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for water-supply purposes, the said Waikouaiti Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value (being the capital value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Waikouaiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 30th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
We hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Waikouaiti Borough Council held on the 16th day of November, 1911. In witness whereof the seal of the said borough has been hereunto affixed this 16th day of November, 1911.

THE following resolution, made by the Havelock Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

HAVELOCK TOWN BOARD.
Resolution making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Havelock Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Havelock Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of lighting the Town of Havelock with acetylene gas, the said Havelock Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Havelock Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Havelock Town Board held on the 8th November, 1911.

THE following resolution, made by the Newcastle Road Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

NEWCASTLE ROAD BOARD.
Resolution making Special Rate.—Horotiu Special-rating District.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Newcastle Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £150, authorized to be raised by the Newcastle Road Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of taking, forming, and fencing a road-deviation through Section 139, Parish of Horotiu, the said Newcastle Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Horotiu Special-rating District, comprising Sections 138, 139, 145 to 148, 157, and parts of 159, 161, and 161A, Blocks XI, XII (952½ acres), Newcastle Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was made by the Newcastle Road Board at a meeting held on the 13th day of November, 1911.
