MARTINBOROUGH TOWN BOARD.
Proposal to raise a Special Loan of £3,500 for the Purpose of building Municipal Hall and Public Office.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 10th day of November, 1911, a proposal was submitted by the Martinborough Town Board to the ratepayers of the Town District of Martinborough to borrow £3,500, having a currency of forty-one years from the issue of the debentures of the said loan, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, in pursuance of the powers vested in it by the said Act and all other powers in that behalf it enabling, for the purpose as follows—to build municipal hall and public offices for the Martinborough Town District; and the proposed security for which loan will be an annually recurring rate of 15/32 of a penny in the pound sterling on the rateable value of all rateable properties in the said town district, to be levied for the said period of forty-one years, including interest on the said loan at the rate of £4 15s. per centum per annum, and provisions for repayment of the said loan by a sinking fund of £1 per centum per annum on the said loan; and that the cost of raising the loan and first year’s interest thereon shall be paid thereout.
And the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For the proposal, 61; against the proposal, 49.
And I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Cambridge was taken on the 15th day of November, 1911, on the proposal of the Cambridge Borough Council to borrow the sum of £3,800 for gas-works extension, drainage extension, and waterworks extension as under:—

MAORI HILL BOROUGH COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of South Ward of the Borough of Maori Hill was taken on the 15th day of November, 1911, on the proposal of the Council of the said borough to raise a special loan of £1,200 for the purpose of erecting a public hall, library, and Council chambers, with necessary conveniences, furniture, and fittings, and to purchase a site for same.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 114; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 45.
I therefore declare the proposal carried.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Havelock Town District was taken on the 30th day of October, 1911, on the proposal of the Havelock Town Board to borrow the sum of £500 for the purpose of lighting the Town of Havelock with acetylene gas.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 43.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 9.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Otamatea taken on the 15th day of November, 1911, on the proposal of the Otamatea County Council to borrow the sum of £3,000 for the purpose of purchasing two complete portable stone-crushing plants, including an oil-engine for each plant, and two steam-tractors, with all necessary equipment for the supply and carriage of broken metal for metalling of roads in the said county, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 220; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 341; number of informal votes, 5.
I therefore declare the proposal to be rejected.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Ruawai Riding of the County of Otamatea taken on the 15th day of November, 1911, on the proposal of the Otamatea County Council to borrow the sum of £7,560 for the purpose of forming and metalling and improving roads in the said Ruawai Riding, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 39; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 18; number of informal votes, nil.
I therefore declare the proposal to be carried.
