Land temporarily reserved as a Site for a Public Hall and Library in Block VIII, Maniototo Survey District, in the Otago Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Otago Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as a site for a public hall and library.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 20, Block VIII, Maniototo Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Crown lands, 299·1 links; towards the south-east by part Section No. 1 of said block, 732·5 links; and towards the south-west by a public road, 668·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1470, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Wellington Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for gravel purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Section No. 8a, Block XIII, Huangarua Survey District. Bounded towards the south-west, north-west, and north-east by Section No. 8 of said block, a distance of 316·2 links in each case, and towards the south-east by Awhea Road, 316·2 links; be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1580, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section 1, Block LXXVI, Town of Hawksbury. Also all that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, being Section 1, Block LXXV, Town of Hawksbury. Bounded towards the east by Inverness Street, 125 links; towards the south-east by Sections 1 and 2, Block LVIII, 550 links; towards the south by Haddington Street, 50 links; again towards the east by the abutment of said street and by Section 1, Block LXIII, 350 links; again towards the south by Section 10 of Block LXIII, 100 links; again towards the south-east by Section 11 of Block LXIII, 320 links; towards the west by a street, 250 links; and towards the north-west by Hawksbury Lagoon 1175 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
