ELTHAM COUNTY COUNCIL.
Omona Riding Bridge Loan (1,200).
Resolution making special rate for repayment of loan, under section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Eltham County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorized to be raised by the Eltham County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of erecting a ferro-concrete bridge over the Mangatoromiro Stream and four concrete culverts respectively on the Rawhitiroa Road, in the Omona Riding of the County of Eltham, the said Eltham County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 11/64 of a penny in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all the rateable property in the Omona Riding of the County of Eltham as appearing on the valuation roll; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off, and subject in all respects to the provisions relating to a special rate raised as security for a loan under the said Act. The interest to be paid on such loan is £3 10s. per centum per annum, with the addition of a sinking fund of £1 7s. 6d. per centum per annum, the whole loan to be raised under Part IV of the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and to be repayable by seventy-three half-yearly payments of £2 8s. 9d. for every £100 of such loan. It is proposed to pay out of the loan the cost of raising the loan, and the interest and sinking fund thereon for the first year.

The foregoing resolution was duly proposed, seconded, and carried at a special meeting of the Eltham County Council held on the 14th day of January, 1911.

THE following special order, made by the Te Kuiti Borough Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £27,275, authorized to be raised by the Te Kuiti Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for—
(1.) Construction of drainage-works … 3,128
(2.) Formation, metalling, widening, kerbing, draining, pumicing, fencing, culverts, fascines, bridges, river-deviation, breast-work, filling, bank-protection, footpaths, and other works necessary in connection with the following streets: Queen Street, Seddon Street, Tonga Street, John Street, Princess Street, King Street (west), Tawhana Street, Carroll Street (south), Ward Street, Ngatai Street, Edward Street, Hill Street, Elizabeth Street, Mary Street, George Street, Duke Street, Hikaka Street, Carroll Street (north), Rora Street, Waiteti Road, Awakino Road, Esplanade (Rora Street to Taupiri Street), Taupiri Street, Sheridan Street, King Street (east), Alexandra Street, Hinerangi Street, Esplanade (east), and Te Kuiti 2b, Flat, Mangaorino Road to Quarry Reserve, Te Kumi Road, Green and Colebrook’s Subdivision and roads leading to same, Jennings Street, Tawa Street to Mangaorino Road, South Street, Hetet Street, &c. 10,010

the said Te Kuiti Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Te Kuiti; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The above special order was duly adopted by the Te Kuiti Borough Council at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 28th day of November, 1910, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 4th day of January, 1911.

MOTUEKA HARBOUR BOARD.
Special Order for making Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Motueka Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £20,000, authorized to be raised by the Motueka Harbour Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the improvements of the Motueka Harbour, the said Motueka Harbour Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Motueka Harbour District, comprising the Borough of Motueka, the Motueka Riding of the Waimea County, and that portion of the Moutere Riding being the late Lower Moutere Road District as described in the Gazette dated 30th day of April, 1883; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and payable yearly on the 31st day of January in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the above special order was duly made and passed at a special meeting of the Motueka Harbour Board on the 17th day of October, 1910, and confirmed at a special meeting of the Motueka Harbour Board held on the 30th day of November, 1910.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Thames Borough Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £8,000, authorized to be raised by the said Council, under the aforesaid Acts, from the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Office Superintendent, for a period of thirty-six years and a half at £2 8s. 9d. per cent. per half-year, for the purpose of constructing a storage reservoir for impounding the statutory supply due from the Thames County Council’s water-race in order to supplement the borough water-supply, the said Thames Borough Council hereby makes
