Resolution made by the Havelock Town Board.

THE following resolution, made by the Havelock Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

HAVELOCK TOWN BOARD.

Resolution making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Havelock Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £370 (part of a joint special loan), authorized to be raised by the Havelock Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of providing the Havelock Town Board’s share of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Wairau River, on the Nelson to Blenheim Road (near Renwicktown), and approaches and protective works thereto, as described in a Warrant dated the 14th day of June, 1911, issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor in terms of section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, the said Havelock Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all rateable property in the Havelock Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Havelock Town Board held on the 11th October, 1911.

HAVEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Extracts from the Minutes of Proceedings of the Hawera County Council at an Ordinary Meeting of such County Council held at the County Office, Hawera, on the 9th Day of September, 1911.—Resolution making Special Rate.—Hauroto Road Loan, £600.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same, the Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Hawera County Council, under the above-mentioned Act and the amendments thereof, for the purpose of constructing a portion of the Hauroto Road, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅔d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the special-rating area, comprising the southern half of Section 1 (25 acres), Sections 2, 3, and 4, of Block IX, Hawera Survey District, and Sections 99, 100, and 101, Block VIII, Waimate Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 5th day of July in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

We hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of and a correct extract from the minutes of proceedings of the Hawera County Council at the meeting above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same, the Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the Hawera County Council, under the above-mentioned Act and the amendments thereof, for the purpose of constructing that portion of the Austin Road from the railway-line in a north-westerly direction for, say, 72 chains, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property within the special-rating area, comprising Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, part 8 (24 acres 1 rood 34 perches), south-western half of Subdivisions 1 and 2, part Section 18 (47 acres 1 rood 3 perches), south-western portion of Section 320 (20 acres), all of Block I, Hawera Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 5th day of July in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
