10 per cent. additional on sewerage loan of £60,500, as that amount is insufficient to complete the work—the said Gisborne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/12 of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property within the whole of the Borough of Gisborne, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 48, of the 9th June, 1904, folio 1490; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th day of June and 31st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, or until such time as the loan is paid off.
Passed at a special meeting of the said Gisborne Borough Council on the 19th September, 1911, and confirmed at a properly constituted meeting of the said Council held on the 17th October, 1911.
We hereby certify that the above special order has been duly made. In witness whereof the seal of the said Council has been hereunto affixed this 18th day of October, 1911.

THE following special order, made by the Egmont County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

COUNTY OF EGMONT.
Special Order making and levying a Special Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereof, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Egmont County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £535, authorized to be raised by the Egmont County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of defraying a portion of the cost of forming, metalling, and improving the unmetalled part of that portion of the Oeo Road which lies between the Skeet Road and a point near the southern boundary of Section 11, Block 13, Kaupokonui Survey District, being a length of 80 chains, more or less, the said Egmont County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special-rating area; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be 3½ per cent.

FRANKTON TOWN BOARD.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Frankton Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £7,500, authorized to be raised by the Frankton Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, and establishing works for the supply of electricity to the inhabitants of and otherwise within the Frankton Town District, and for lighting the streets and roads within the said district, the said Frankton Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value (being the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Frankton Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Resolution making Special Rate.
That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,250, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for metalling the Waitomo Road, within the Tawanui Special-rating Area, the Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. and 15/16 of a penny in the pound upon the capital value of all rateable property within the Tawanui Special-rating area, commencing at the south-east corner of Section 3, Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, bounded on the north-east generally by Sections 11, 12, 15, and A, Otorohanga, all of Block IV, Orahiri Survey District; and on the east generally by Section Orahiri 681, Block IV, Orahiri Survey District; and Sections part Orahiri No. 1(32), No. 7c,
