Laying out and taking a Road through Whirinaki No. 6 Block,
Waoku Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native
Land Act, 1909, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby lay out and take as a road the land described in
the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Approximate Area of the Parcel of Land taken. Being Portion of Situated in Block Situated in Survey District of Shown on Plan Coloured on Plan
A. R. P. 6 0 10 Whirinaki No. 6 Block V Waoku L.1911/1330 Pink.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington. (Auck. Plan 15777, blue.)

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of
New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued
under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this twen-
tieth day of October, in the year of our Lord
one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section seventy-seven of the New
Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, as
amended by section twenty-two of the New Zealand State-
guaranteed Advances Amendment Act, 1910, it is, amongst
other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be
expended under the provisions of the said section seventy-
seven in connection with any block of land unless that block
is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to
Proclamation in that behalf:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power
and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the pur-
poses of the aforesaid Acts, I, John Poynder Dickson-
Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in
the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

Oparau Block (1,075 Acres).

Additional Land at Taumarere taken for the Purposes of
the Opua-Kawakawa Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use,
convenience, and enjoyment of the Opua-Kawakawa
Railway to take further land at Taumarere, in addition to
land previously acquired for the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me
by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight
of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above
mentioned.
