POHANGINA COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, the Council of the County of Pohangina hereby resolves by way of special order as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £87, authorized to be raised by the Council of the County of Pohangina, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of providing the said Council’s proportion of the cost of constructing a bridge and approaches thereto over the Oroua River, on London’s Road, known as London’s Ford, as set forth in the Governor’s Warrant gazetted on page 2085 of the New Zealand Gazette No. 65, of the 12th day of August, 1909, the said Council of the County of Pohangina hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1/53 of a penny in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all the undermentioned rateable property in the Coal Creek Riding; being Sections 124, 125, 126, 127, 128, 130, and 132, Block XIV, Apiti Survey District; Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, Block XV, Apiti Survey District; Sections 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, and 131, Block II, Pohangina Survey District; Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8, Block III, Pohangina Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until such loan is fully paid off.

In testimony whereof the common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina was hereunto affixed this 12th day of August, 1911.

The resolution instituting the above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Pohangina County Council held on the 8th day of July, 1911, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 12th day of August, 1911.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £3,500, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, for the purpose of forming and metalling a portion of the several roads of the Aria Special-rating Area, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2¾d. in the pound upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Aria Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of the following sections—No. 1, Block X, Totoro Survey District; Sections 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 19, and 20, Section 2A, Native block, Mahoenui No. 2, Karua-o-te-whenua B No. 2B (part), Mahoenui No. 3B, all of Block IX, Totoro Survey District; Sections 1, 2, and 3, Native block, Umukaimata 3B No. 1, and Umukaimata No. 3B No. 2, all of Block I, Aria Survey District: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on 28th August, 1911, and confirmed as a special order at a special meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on 9th October, 1911.

WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Waitomo County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Waitomo County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the amendments thereto, for the purpose of metalling and widening, where required, the whole of the Caves Road, the said Waitomo County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ⅚d. in the pound upon the rateable values of all rateable properties in the Caves Road Special-rating Area, comprising the whole of Sections 1, 2, and 3A, Block VII, Kawhia South Survey District; Sections 3, 3A, 4, 5, 6, and part 1, and 2, Block V, Orahiri Survey District; Sections 3, 8, 7, and 6, Native block, Hauturu West 1B No. 2, Block I, Orahiri Survey District; Native block, Hauturu East No. 1C No. 2, Sections 3, 8A, 6, 4, 4A, 7A, 5, 8, and 7, Block IX, Orahiri Survey District; Sections 2, 5, 2A, and 7, Native blocks, Hauturu East No. 3 (part), Hauturu East B No. 2C (part), and part Sections 6 and 4, Block X, Orahiri Survey District; Sections 3 and 4, 1B and 1A, Block XIII, Orahiri Survey District; Small Grazing-run No. 26 (or Section 6), Sections 1 and 2, Native blocks, Hauturu East 1B Nos. 2, 3, 4, and 5, Kinohaku East 1B, Section 2B, Kinohaku West O No. 1, Kinohaku West No. 3B, Block XVI, Kawhia Survey District: and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Waitomo County Council held on 28th August, 1911, and was confirmed as a special order at a subsequent special meeting of the Council held in the Council Chambers, Te Kuiti, on Monday, 9th October, 1911.

THE following resolution, made by the Manaia Town Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

MANAIA TOWN BOARD.

THE following resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Manaia Town Board held on Monday, 2nd October, at 8 p.m.:

Resolved, on the motion of Messrs. Christie and Big-ham, That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by section 4 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1910, the Manaia Town Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £2,000, authorized to be raised by the Manaia Town Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, for the purpose of remetalling that portion of the main South Road within the Manaia Town District, the said Manaia Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/16 of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Manaia Town District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of February in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
