of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke an Order in Council, dated the twenty-sixth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and six, appointing a Domain Board to have control of the Cashmere Hills Domain, and doth hereby appoint
THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL
to be the Cashmere Hills Domain Board, having, subject to the said Act, control of the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land is a public domain, and shall be called the Cashmere Hills Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Monday, the thirtieth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at nine o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the City Council Chamber, Christchurch, as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
CASHMERE HILLS DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 188 acres 3 roods 11 perches, more or less, being Reserve No. 161, situated in Block III, Halswell Survey District, and bounded northward by Rural Section 2147, 4491·7 links; eastward by Rural Section 20922, 5256 links; southward by Rural Sections 11227 and 11170, 4049·6 links; and westward by Dyer’s Pass Road, 7667 links: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less: save and excepting thereout a road-line 1 chain wide which is included in the above-described boundaries: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1298, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink in the margin.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1911.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section seven of the Land Settlement Finance Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that, as soon as practicable after the complete execution of any agreement under the said Act, application in the prescribed form shall be made to the Governor, by or on behalf of the purchasers, for an Order in Council confirming the agreement in pursuance of the said Act: And whereas by sections eight and nine of the said Act it is further provided that upon receipt of such application the Minister of Finance shall refer the same, together with the agreement, to the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners for its report thereon, and if the Board reports that the agreement is fit and proper to be so confirmed the Governor may, if he thinks fit, by Order in Council confirm the agreement accordingly: And whereas under the provisions of the said Act an agreement, bearing date the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, has been entered into between Robert Edwin Morrison, vendor, of the one part, and Benjamin Tippins, Thomas James Victor Dunlop, John Hunter McNeill, George Henry Morrison, and Frank Julian Zettwitz and Herman August Zettwitz, as tenants in common, purchasers of the other part, for the purchase of the land therein described, and the said purchasers therein agreed to become incorporated as the Pukekawa Land Settlement Association: And whereas application has been made in the prescribed form for the issue of an Order in Council confirming the said agreement: And whereas the said application, together with the said agreement, was referred to the Board of Land Purchase Commissioners for its report, and the Board has reported that no roading is required in respect of the said land, and that the said agreement is fit and proper to be so confirmed:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the said Act, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confirm the said agreement dated the twenty-seventh day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Scenic Reserve in the Auckland Land District brought under the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1911.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fifth and sixth sections of the Tourist and Health Resorts Control Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for scenic purposes in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be managed, administered, and dealt with in manner directed thereunder; and I do also hereby vest the control of the said reserve in the Minister of the Crown for the time being having the administration of the said Act.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1911.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Taranaki County Council is a body of persons having power to lease land held in trust, reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Taranaki County Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.
