SCHEDULE.

For preparing the defaulters list and the rolls for the ridings within the County of Halswell: Until the 16th day of September, 1911.

Time for which such list and rolls shall be open for inspection: From the 21st day of September, 1911, to the 5th day of October, 1911.

Time for appeals against the said rolls: Until the 21st day of October, 1911.

Revision Courts may sit for hearing applications with reference to the said rolls, and adjourn: Until the 30th day of October, 1911.

Time when the said rolls, having been duly corrected and signed, shall come into force: On the 4th day of November, 1911.

Extending Time for holding General Election of Councillors in certain Counties.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1911.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section sixty-five of the Counties Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is provided that the general election of members of the various County Councils throughout the Dominion shall be held on the second Wednesday in November: And whereas it is expedient to extend the time for holding such election in certain counties:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by section two hundred and seventeen of the said Act, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby extend the time for holding the general election of Councillors for the Counties of Akaroa, Amuri, Ashburton, Cheviot, Geraldine, Halswell, Kai-koura, Levels, Malvern, Mount Herbert, Mackenzie, Paparua, Springs, Tawera, Waimate, Waipara, and Wai-rewa; and doth hereby order and declare that in the aforesaid counties the said general election shall be held and take place on Wednesday, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven; excepting in the County of Akaroa, in which the said election shall be held on Saturday, the eighteenth day of the said month of November.

Declaring French Pass to Taotaoroa Road, in the Cambridge Road District, to be a District Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1911.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a district road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Auckland Land District, situated in the Cambridge Road District, Waikato County, known as the French Pass to Taotaoroa Road, commencing at its junction with the Cambridge Sanatorium Road at the north-west corner of Section 236, Block IX, Cambridge Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in an easterly direction along the northern boundaries of Sections 236 and 237, Blocks IX and X, Cambridge Survey District, through Sections 280, 279, 278, and 277, all in Block X, Cambridge Survey District; thence in a north-easterly direction along the northern boundary of Sec-
tion 9, and terminating at the northernmost corner of the said Section 9, Block X, Cambridge Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 60 chains, or thereabouts: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30426, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and lettered A B.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Berwick Domain.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of October, 1911.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the nineteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-second day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eight, certain powers were delegated to the Berwick Domain Board, no period being specified:
And whereas by section fifty-four of the said Act the period for which the said Board held office expired on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven:
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM McKAY, and
HARRY STARBURCK GEORGE
to be the Berwick Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Berwick, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
BERWICK DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Section No. 10, Block IX, Town of Berwick. Bounded towards the north-east by Waipori Place, 270 links; towards the south-east generally by the Waipori River, 1000 links; towards the south-west generally by the said river, 1150 links; and towards the north-west generally by the said river, 800 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1073, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington; and thereon bordered red.
