This resolution is in substitution for that which was passed on the 21st July, 1911, and which is hereby revoked.

Notice of Resolution recommending Withdrawal of Land from the Operations of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and its Amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor in Council, acting under the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 38 of the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908, and section 9 of the Kauri-gum Industry Amendment Act, 1910, that a resolution has been passed by the Auckland Land Board certifying that to the best of their knowledge and belief the portion of Wayby Kauri-gum Reserve described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of gum-digging, and recommending the Governor to issue an Order in Council declaring the said area to be no longer subject to the Kauri-gum Industry Act, 1908. Any objections to this proposal must be sent to His Excellency the Governor within two months from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1,140 acres, more or less, situated in Blocks VIII and XII, Pakiri Survey District, and Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District, and being part of the Wayby Kauri-gum Reserve set apart by Order in Council dated 11th September, 1899, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of 14th September, 1899, page 1763. Bounded towards the north-west by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 26 in Block XVI aforesaid, from the north-eastern corner of Section No. 31 to the easternmost corner of Section No. 26 aforesaid; thence towards the north generally by the road running easterly to the western boundary of Section No. 4, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District; thence towards the east generally by the road forming part of the western boundary of Section No. 4 aforesaid, the western boundary of Section No. 2, Block VIII, Pakiri Survey District, and the western boundary of Section No. 2, Block XII aforesaid, to Section No. 3 of the last-mentioned block; thence by that section to the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 4; thence towards the south by the road forming the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 4 and 11 to a point opposite the northernmost corner of the latter section; thence towards the south-east generally by a right line across the said road and by Sections Nos. 11 and 5, Block XII aforesaid, to the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 10; thence again towards the south generally by the last-mentioned road to a point opposite the northernmost corner of the said Section No. 10; thence across the road and by that section to the easternmost corner of Section No. 30, Block XVI, Otamatea Survey District; thence by the said Section No. 30 and across a road to Section No. 31; and thence towards the west by the last-mentioned section to the place of commencement: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1911/1229, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
