Bounded on the south, commencing at the centre of the Oroua River, by the Cheltenham Riding; on the west by the western boundaries of Sections 178 and 180, Block III, Oroua Survey District, 182, 184, and 186, Block XVI, Ongo Survey District; thence by the northern boundary of Section 186, Block XVI, Ongo Survey District, and Sections 185, 194, Block IV, Oroua Survey District, to the centre of McBeth’s Road; thence by the centre of McBeth’s Road to the north-western boundary of Section 267, Block I, Pohangina Survey District; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections 267, 262, and 263, Block I, Pohangina Survey District, to the centre of the Oroua River; thence by the centre of the said river to the starting-point.

Kimbolton Riding.

Bounded on the south, commencing at the centre of the Oroua River, by the Kiwitea Riding; thence by the southern and eastern boundaries of the Waituna Riding from the western corner of Section 188, Block XVI, Ongo Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 19, Block XII, Ongo Survey District; thence by the centre of Mangapipi and Kiwitea–Tapuae Roads to the centre of the Middle Road; thence by the centre of the Middle Road to the centre of the Kiwitea Stream; thence up the centre of the Kiwitea Stream to the north-western corner of Section 3, Block IX, Apiti Survey District; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections 3 and 4, Block IX, parts 1 and 2 of 15, 16, Block X, Apiti Survey District, to the centre of Kimbolton Road; thence by the centre of Kimbolton Road to the northern boundary of Section 11, Block X, Apiti Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 11 to the centre of the Oroua River; thence by the centre of the said river to the starting-point.

Peep-o’-Day Riding.

Bounded on south, commencing at the centre of the Oroua River, by the Kimbolton and Waituna Ridings, and on the west by the Waituna Riding to the north-eastern corner of Section 61, Block VIII, Ongo Survey District; thence by the western boundary of Sections 13, 2, and 1, Block VIII, Ongo Survey District; thence by the northern boundaries of Blocks VIII, Ongo Survey District, V and VI, Apiti Survey District, Sections 58, 57, and 56, Block VII, Apiti Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary of said Section 56 to the centre of the Kiwitea Cross Road; thence along the centre of said Kiwitea Cross Road and Kimbolton Road to the north-east corner of Section 64, Block VII, Apiti Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary of Section 64 and the northern boundary of Section 59, Block VII, Apiti Survey District, to the centre of the Oroua River; thence by the centre of the said river to the starting-point.

Pakihikura Riding.

Commencing at the centre of the Rangitikei River at the southern boundary of the Township of Livingstone, and bounded on the south by the Waituna and Peep-o’-Day Ridings to the north-western corner of Section 65, Block VI, Apiti Survey District; thence in a northerly direction by the Kiwitea Stream to the Village of Marshall; thence by the western and northern boundaries of the said Village of Marshall to the centre of the Ruae Road; thence by the centre of the Ruae Road to the centre of the Watershed Road; thence by the centre of the Watershed Road, along the eastern boundary of Section 2, Block XIV, Hautapu Survey District, and along the centre of Willis Road to the southern boundary of Section 10, Block XV, Hautapu Survey District; thence by the southern and western boundaries of the said Section 10; thence by the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 1, 6, and 7, Block XIV, Hautapu Survey District, and 4A and 3, Block X, Hautapu Survey District, to the centre of the Rangitikei River; thence by the centre of the said river to the starting-point.

Rangiwhia Riding.

Bounded on the south, commencing at the centre of the Oroua River, by the Peep-o’-day Riding; on the west by the Pakihikura Riding to junction of Willis Road with Section 10, Block XV, Hautapu Survey District; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections 6 and 7, Block XV, Hautapu Survey District, to the centre of the road on the western boundary of Section 34, Block XV, Hautapu Survey District; thence by centre of said road to the north-east boundary of said Section 34; thence by the north-east boundaries of Sections 34, 33, 32, 9, Block XV, Hautapu Survey District; thence by the eastern boundary of Section 9, Block XV, Hautapu Survey District, to the north-western corner of Section 26, Block XVI, Hautapu Survey District; thence by the northern boundary of said Section 26 to the centre of the Mangawharariki Stream; thence along the centre of the said stream to the south-eastern corner of Section 16, Block XIII, Ruahine Survey District; thence in a line due east to the summit of the Ruahine Ranges; thence by the said summit and the eastern boundary of the county to the source of the Oroua River; thence by the centre of the said river to the starting-point.

Hautapu Riding.

Commencing at the summit of the Ruahine Ranges, and bounded on the south by the Rangiwhia and Pakihikura Ridings to the centre of the Rangitikei River; thence by the centre of the said river to its junction with the Kawhatau Stream; thence by the centre of the said stream and the northern boundary of the county to the eastern boundary of the county; thence by the eastern boundary of the county to the starting-point.

The foregoing is a true and correct copy of a special order adopted by the Kiwitea County Council at a special meeting held on the 25th day of August, 1911, and confirmed by the said Council at its regular meeting held on the 23rd day of September, 1911.

It was resolved, on the motion of the Chairman, seconded by Mr. Bremner, That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Upper Wangaehu Road Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £300, authorized to be raised by the Upper Wangaehu Road Board,
