a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped, and such road shall not be deemed to be stopped, until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:

And whereas the Newcastle Road Board has applied for such consent in respect to the road described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Newcastle Road Board closing the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Portion of the Tutamoe Road in the Cook County to be a County Road.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1911.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES CARROLL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Cook County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, known as the Tutamoe Road, commencing at its junction with the Tologa-Tauwhareparae Road, also called Gillies Road, situated in Block XVI, Tutamoe Survey District, and extending in a south-westerly direction for about 124 chains along the south-east boundary of Section 6, Waingaromia No. 2 Block, to its junction with Seaton Road; thence in a north-westerly direction for about 114 chains through the said Section 6 of Waingaromia No. 2 Block, and terminating at a point about 75 chains south-east of the north-west boundary of the said Section 6, Waingaromia No. 2 Block, situated in Block XV, Tutamoe Survey District, being a distance of 2 miles 78 chains, more or less: as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30332, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1911.

Prohibiting all Private Alienation of certain Native Lands.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this thirtieth day of September, 1911.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE SIR JAMES CARROLL, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend the period of an Order in Council made the third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and ten, for a further period of six months, prohibiting all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
