Varied Notice fixing Closing-hours of Chemists’ Shops in the Borough of Dannevirke under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the chemists’ shops in the Borough of Dannevirke, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows : Mondays and Tuesdays, at 8 p.m. ; Thursdays and Fridays, at 8 p.m. ; Saturdays, at 10.30 p.m. : And whereas the Dannevirke Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the chemists’ shops within the Borough of Dannevirke :
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25, Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that, from and after the 2nd day of October, 1911, all chemists’ shops in the Borough of Dannevirke shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The notice gazetted on 2nd February, 1905, fixing the closing-hours of all shops is hereby varied accordingly.

Notice fixing Closing-hours of Hairdressers’ and Tobacconists’ Shops in the Borough of Ashburton under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the hairdressers’ and tobacconists’ shops, combined and separately, in the Borough of Ashburton, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows : Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 7 p.m. ; Thursday, 1 p.m. ; Saturday, 10.30 p.m. : And whereas the Ashburton Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the hairdressers’ and tobacconists’ shops, combined and separately, within the Borough of Ashburton :

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of Roads in Puniu and Mangaorongo Survey Districts, West Taupo County.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that the roads described in the Schedule hereto were, on the 25th day of April, 1910, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrants dated the 26th August and 4th December, 1909, and 19th February, 1910.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Blocks XIV and XV, Rotorua Survey District, for the Preservation of Scenery.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, and the Scenery Preservation Amendment Act, 1910, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the preservation of scenery. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Rotorua, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking thereof, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington.
