Section No. 3, Block V, Kaitieke Survey District; thence by that section, Section No. 2, Block VIII, Retaruke Survey District, and Section No. 2, Block IV, Retaruke Survey District, to its northernmost corner; thence by part of the north-western boundary of Section No. 1, Block IV aforesaid, to the Kokakariki Stream; thence by that stream to the Wanganui River; and thence towards the north-west generally by the Wanganui River to the place of commencement.
RETARUKE RIDING.
All that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the north-east generally by the Kirikau Riding, hereinbefore described, from the Wanganui River to Retaruke River; thence towards the east by that river to a point opposite the north-western corner of Native Reserve No. 1, in Block XII, Retaruke Survey District; thence across the said river, by the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of the said Native Reserve No. 1, and by Blocks IX and XIII, Kaitieke Survey District, to the southern boundary of Kaitieke County; thence towards the south by the southern boundary of the said Kaitieke County to the Wanganui River; and thence towards the north-west generally by the Wanganui River to the place of commencement.
OIO RIDING.
All that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the north-west generally by the Retaruke and Kirikau Ridings, hereinbefore described, from the southernmost corner of Native Reserve No. 1, in Block XII, Retaruke Survey District, to Porere Trig. Station; thence towards the north generally by Owhango Riding, hereinbefore described, to the Oio Road; thence across and by that road to the north-western corner of Section No. 5, Block VII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence towards the east by that section to its south-western corner; thence towards the south generally by the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 4, 3, and 2, Block VII aforesaid, to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 1, Block X; thence by the south-eastern boundary of that section to the Kaitieke Road; thence across and by that road to Section No. 4, Block XI, Kaitieke Survey District; thence by that section and Sections Nos. 40 and 39, Block X, to the Retaruke River; thence across that river, and by Section No. 2, Block IX, Kaitieke Survey District, to its north-western corner; thence by the south-western boundaries of Sections Nos. 3 and 5, Block IX aforesaid, and the south-eastern boundary of Section No. 1, Block IX aforesaid, to the place of commencement.
RAURIMU RIDING.
All that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the north generally by the Oio and Owhango Ridings, hereinbefore described, from the south-eastern corner of Native Reserve No. 1, in Block XII, Retaruke Survey District, to Tongariro Trig. Station; thence towards the east by the eastern boundary of Kaitieke County to the northern boundary of Block IV, Ruapehu Survey District; thence towards the south by Blocks IV, III, and II, Ruapehu Survey District, to the north-eastern boundary of Tawhai North Block; thence by part of the north-eastern boundary of that block to its south-eastern corner; thence by the south-eastern boundary of the said Tawhai North Block, and part of its south-western boundary, to the south-eastern boundary of Mahuia B Block; thence by the said south-eastern boundary of that block to the Mangahuia Stream; thence by that stream to the northern boundary of Block II, Ruapehu Survey District; thence by part of the said northern boundary of Block II and by Block I, Ruapehu Survey District, to Waimarino No. 4 Block; thence by Blocks IV and III, Manganui Survey District, to Section No. 6, Block XV, Kaitieke Survey District; thence by that section, and across the Waimarino-Retaruke Road, to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 5, Block XV aforesaid; thence by that section, Section No. 2, Block XV aforesaid, Section No. 4, Block XIV, Kaitieke Survey District, across a road, by Sections Nos. 7 and 8, Block XIV aforesaid, and Sections Nos. 2 and 1, Block II, Manganui Survey District, to the southern boundary of Kaitieke County; thence by the southern boundary of that county to the south-eastern corner of Block XVI, Retaruke Survey District; and thence towards the west by Blocks XVI and XII, Retaruke Survey District, to the place of commencement.
MANGANUI RIDING.
All that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the west and north by the Raurimu Riding, hereinbefore described, from the south-eastern corner of Section No. 3, Block II, Manganui Survey District, to the south-eastern boundary of Kaitieke County; thence towards the south-east by the south-eastern boundary of the said Kaitieke County to Paretetaitonga Trig. Station; and thence towards the south generally by the southern boundary of Kaitieke County to the place of commencement.

Proclaiming Roads in the Thermal Springs District to be Public Roads.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it is provided by the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1910 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), that the Governor may proclaim as a public road any road in any district which at any time before the passing of this Act is or has been subject to the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1908, or to the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1881, if that road is in use as a public highway at the passing of this Act, and if public money or the money of any local authority has before the passing of this Act been expended in the formation, construction, improvement, or maintenance thereof; and that every such road may, irrespective of the extent of its formation or use at the passing of this Act, be proclaimed as of the width of thirty-three feet on each side of the centre-line of the formation thereof as existing at the passing of that Act:
And whereas the roads described in the Schedule hereto are in a district which, before the passing of the said Act, has been subject to the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1908, or the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1881, and were in use as public highways at the passing of the said Act, and public money has, before the passing of the said Act, been expended in the formation, construction, improvement, and maintenance of such roads:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by the Thermal Springs Districts Act, 1910, and of every other power and authority in any-wise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as public roads the roads described in the Schedule hereto, and I do also proclaim such roads as of the width of thirty-three feet on each side of the centre-line of the formation thereof as existing at the passing of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
All that portion of the road known as the Tirau-Rotorua Road, situated in the Rotorua County, and commencing at its junction with the Tauranga-Rotorua Road in Block XVI, Rotorua Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally through Blocks XVI, XV, XI, and X, Rotorua Survey District, to its junction with the western boundary of the Rotorua County, being a distance of about nine miles and a half.
Also all that portion of the road known as the Rotorua-Maketu Road, situated in the Rotorua County, and commencing at its junction with the Rotorua-Whakatane Road in Block XIV, Rotoiti Survey District, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally through Blocks XIV, X, VI, VII, and III, Rotoiti Survey District, and Block XV, Maketu Survey District, to its junction with the northern boundary of the Rotorua County, being a distance of about fifteen miles.
Also all that portion of the road known as the Rotorua-Whakatane Road, situated in the Rotorua County, and commencing at its junction with the Rotorua-Maketu Road in Block XIV, Rotoiti Survey District, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally through Blocks XIV, X, XI, and XII, Rotoiti Survey District, Blocks IX and X, Rotoma Survey District, to its junction with the eastern boundary of the Rotorua County, being a distance of about nineteen miles.
Also all that portion of road known as the Rotorua to Galatea Road, situated in the Rotorua County, and commencing at its junction with the road forming the north-western boundary of Section 6, Blocks II and III, Paeroa Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally through Blocks II, III, VII, and VIII, Paeroa Survey District, and Block V, Kaingaroa Survey District, to its junction with the northern boundary of
