District constituted under the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1908.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by the Births and Deaths Registration Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing registration districts known as the Jackson’s Bay and Big Bay Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby constituted one registration district, the name whereof shall be the Jackson’s Bay District, and the boundaries whereof shall be coterminous with the boundaries of the marriage district bearing the same name, as are set forth in a Proclamation of even date herewith, made under the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in the Governor by the Marriage Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby abolish the existing marriage districts known as the Jackson’s Bay and Big Bay Districts, and do proclaim and declare that the territory heretofore comprised within the said districts is hereby constituted one marriage district, the name and boundaries whereof shall be as follows :-
JACKSON’S BAY DISTRICT.
All that area bounded towards the north generally by the Paringa River from the sea to Lake Paringa; thence by the leading spur to Mount Kinnaird; thence by the summit of the range over Mount McCulloch, Mount Dechen, and Fettes Peak to the summit of the Southern Alps; thence towards the south-east generally by the summit of the Southern Alps to Mount Aspiring; thence by a right line running in the direction of the mouth of the Awarua River in Bag Bay to a point due north of Cosmos Peak; thence by a right line to Cosmos Peak; thence by the eastern watershed of the Hollyford River to Mount Anau; thence towards the south generally by the summit of the range over McKinnon’s Pass to Castle Mountain; thence by a right line to Bligh Sound at Cloudy Pass; and thence towards the west and north-west generally by the sea to the mouth of the Paringa River, the place of commencement.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation shall come into operation on the second day of October, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

New County of Kaitieke divided into Ridings, &c.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Counties Act, 1908, and the Kaitieke County Act, 1910, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby divide the new County of Kaitieke, as constituted by the said Acts, into seven ridings, to be called the Hunua Riding, the Owhango Riding, the Kirikau Riding, the Retaruke Riding, the Oio Riding, the Raurimu Riding, and the Manganui Riding, and declare that the boundaries thereof shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
And I do hereby declare that one member shall be elected for each of the aforesaid ridings. And I do further declare that Saturday, the twenty-first day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, shall be the day upon which the election of the first Council of the said County of Kaitieke shall take place; and that Saturday, the fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon, shall be the time, and the Public Hall, Raurimu, shall be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Council shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
HUNUA RIDING.
ALL that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the north-west and north-east generally by the Wanganui River from the south-western corner of Native Reserve C, in Block II, Owatu Survey District, to the northern boundary of Block III, Waimanu Survey District; thence towards the south generally by a right line to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 1, Block V, Hunua Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of that section, and the southern boundary of Section No. 10, Block IV, Hunua Survey District, and the eastern boundary of Section No. 11, Block IV aforesaid, to the Hikimutu Stream; thence across that stream and the Hikimutu Road, and by Section No. 7, Block VIII, Hunua Survey District, to the Pokatea-Kokokanui Road, across that road, by Section No. 8, Block VIII aforesaid, Section No. 4, Block IX, Hunua Survey District, Section No. 12, Block III, Kaitieke Survey District, Sections Nos. 3, 4, and 7, Block II, Kaitieke Survey District, Sections Nos. 6 and 5, Block I, Kaitieke Survey District, Section No. 1, Block VII, Hunua Survey District, and Section No. 1, Block II, Owatu Survey District, to Native Reserve C aforesaid; and thence by the southern boundary of that reserve to the Wanganui River, the place of commencement.
OWHANGO RIDING.
All that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the west and north by the Hunua Riding, hereinbefore described, from the westernmost corner of Section No. 4, Block II, Kaitieke Survey District, to the Wanganui River; thence towards the north-east and east generally by the Wanganui River to the western boundary of East Taupo County, and thence by that county to Tongariro Trig. Station; thence towards the south-west by a right line to Okupata Trig. Station, in Block X, Tongariro Survey District; thence by Okahukura No. 2a Block to its westernmost corner; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of Waimarino E Native Reserve; thence by that Native reserve and the production of its northern boundary to Section No. 9, Block VII, Kaitieke Survey District; thence by the south-eastern boundary of that section to its southernmost corner; thence by Section No. 8, said Block VII, across a road, and by Section No. 1, Block III, Kaitieke Survey District, to Section No. 10; thence by the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 10 and 9, Block III aforesaid, and the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 5 and 6, Block II, to the Kawautahi Valley Road; thence across that road and by Section No. 8, said Block III, to the Ohuha Road; and thence by that road to the place of commencement.
KIRIKAU RIDING.
All that area in Kaitieke County bounded towards the north-east by the Hunua and Owhango Ridings, hereinbefore described, from the Wanganui River to Porere Trig. Station at the easternmost corner of Kawautahi Native Reserve No. 4; thence towards the south-east by the south-eastern boundary of the said Native reserve to the Retaruke River; thence towards the south-west generally by that river to the south-eastern corner of
