Paeroa East No. 2B Block, being a distance of about eleven miles.

Also all that portion of road known as the Rotorua to Taupo Road, via Atiamuri, situated in the East Taupo County, and commencing at its junction with the Rotorua to Taupo Road, via Waiotapu, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally through Block II, Tauhara Survey District, Blocks XIV and XIII, Tatua Survey District, to its junction with the north-western boundary of the Wairakei Block, being a distance of about five miles.

Also all that portion of road known as the Taupo-Napier Road, situated in the East Taupo County, and commencing at its junction with the Tokaanu-Taupo Road, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly direction generally through Blocks II, VI, and VII, Tauhara Survey District, to its junction with the north-western boundary of Tauhara Middle No. 4A Block, being a distance of about three miles.

Also all that portion of road known as the Tokaanu to Taupo Road, situated in the East Taupo County, and commencing at its junction with Kaimanawa Street, in the Town of Taupo, and proceeding thence in a southerly direction generally through Blocks II and VI, Tauhara Survey District, to its junction with the northern boundary of Tauhara Middle “A” Block, being a distance of about four miles.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 29512, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured burnt sienna and marked A B, C D, E F, G H, J K, L M, and N O respectively.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Additional Land in Otamatea Survey District taken for the Purposes of the North Auckland Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, and enjoyment of the North Auckland Railway to take further land in Otamatea Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.

Allocating Land reserved for a Railway to the Purposes of a Road in Blocks XI, X, VII, III, and IV, Ngatimaru Survey District, Whangamomona County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land reserved for the purposes of the Stratford-Kawakawa Railway, and it has been considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a road:

And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Public Works that such land is not required for railway purposes:

And whereas such land is situated in the County of Whangamomona, the local authority of which has consented to the issue of this Proclamation, and appears to be the local authority most capable of conveniently and effectively controlling and maintaining the said road:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be maintained by the Whangamomona County Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
