Tara Block, to the north-western corner of Section 1; thence southerly along the boundaries of Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 95, and 155 of Block V; thence westerly along the southern boundary of Sections 154, 153, 152, and 151 of Block V; thence south-westerly along the boundaries of Sections 9A and 140 of Block V to the north-western corner of Section 166, Block IX; thence in a south-westerly direction along the boundary of Section 166, Block IX, to its intersection with the Norsewood-Makotuku Road; thence along that road in a south-easterly direction to the northern corner of Section 124, Block IX; thence southerly along the boundary of Section 124 to the Mangatewainui River; thence north-westerly along the Mangatewainui River to its intersection with the main Woodville-Napier Road; thence southerly along the aforesaid road to its intersection with the Mangatewai-iti River; thence in a north-westerly direction along the Mangatewai-iti River to a point in that river striking the boundaries of Te Ohu and Piripiri Blocks; and thence in a south-westerly direction along the said boundaries; thence in a straight line between the aforesaid blocks to the summit of the Ruahine Range; and thence along that range to the place of commencement.

All that area in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay commencing at the north-western corner of the Kahututae-Atua Stream, along the northern boundary of Sections 1 and 8 of Block V and Sections 1 and 2 of Block VI, Takapau Survey District, to the Manawatu River; thence along the Manawatu River to the junction of the Waikopiro Stream; thence along the Waikopiro Stream to the south-western corner of Block LXIX, Takapau Survey District; thence along the southern boundary of Block LXXXIII, Takapau Survey District, to the junction of the Turaekaitai and Whangai Streams; thence southerly along the Whangai Stream to the Mangapuaka and Tarereangarehu Streams to the Manawatu River; thence towards the north-west by the Manawatu and Mangatewainui Rivers to the south-west corner of Section 124, Block IX, Takapau Survey District; thence towards the north-east by Sections 125, 13A, 10A, and 9A, Block V, Takapau Survey District; thence along the southern boundaries of Sections 151, 152, 153, and 154; thence northerly along the eastern boundaries of Sections 154, 84A, 85, 85A, 85B, 86, 86A, 87, 87A, and 89 to the place of commencement.

THE following special order, made by the Whangamomona County Council, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendment.

WHANGAMOMONA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Special Rate.—Upper Mangaehu No. 2 Loan of £2,500.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the New Zealand State-guaranteed Advances Act, 1909, and amendments, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £2,500, authorized to be raised by the Whangamomona County Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming to dray-road width and grading the Mangaehu Road from the end of the present formation to the Kohi Road junction, and thenceforward in grading and forming to dray-road width the Kohi Road for as far as the loan-money will allow, the said Whangamomona County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 3d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all the rateable property of the Upper Mangaehu No. 2 Special-rating Area, comprising Subdivisions 2A, 2B, 2C, Block XIII, and Subdivision 2D, Block XIV, Mahoe Survey District; and Subdivision 17, Block IX, Ngatimaru Survey District; and Section 1, Block XIV, Section 8, Section 9, Block XIV, Section 10, Block X, Section 9, Block X, and part Subdivision 1A (500 acres), Block XIII, all in the Mahoe Survey District :
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of January and the 1st day of July in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above special order was instituted at a special meeting of the Council held on the 28th day of June, 1911, and confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 23rd day of August, 1911, in accordance with the provisions of the Acts authorizing and regulating Government loans to local bodies.

KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Kairanga County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £950, authorized to be raised by the Kairanga County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of surveying, forming, bridging, culverting, and metalling roads in Sections 371 and 372, Block IV, Gorge Survey District, the said Kairanga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2d. and 11/20 of a penny in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable property of the special-rating area, comprising Sections 371, 372, and 373, Block IV, Gorge Survey District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the Kairanga County was hereto affixed this 12th day of September, 1911.
