Opening Land in Auckland Land District for Selection on Renewable Lease.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of November, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY.—KERIKERI SURVEY DISTRICT.

Third-class Land.

Exempt from rent for one year.

Weighted with £95, valuation for improvements consisting of four-roomed cottage, cow-shed, landing-stage, 10 acres grass, and about 60 chains fencing.

Altitude, 10 ft. to 200 ft. above sea-level. Undulating land, 10 acres grass, balance scrub and fern. Soil of inferior quality, on sandstone formation; fairly watered by a small stream. Situated twelve miles from Russell by water.
