ing S. 8° 30' W. for a distance of about 5540 links to its intersection with the line of the Otatara Tramway Bridge; thence in a south-westerly direction along the line of the said bridge and embankment connected therewith for a distance of about 10050 links to high-water mark; thence by high-water mark in a north-westerly direction to the commencing-point: all the above-described area being margined red on the plan referred to below.
Be all the foregoing areas, linkages, and bearings either more or less, all within the New River Harbour, being parts of the Invercargill Hundred, in the Land District of Southland: as all the above-described areas are delineated on the plan marked M.D. 3736, deposited in the office of the Minister of Marine, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.

Land temporarily reserved for a Public Recreation-ground in Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District, in the Auckland Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a public recreation-ground.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 139 acres and 20 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3, Block XIII, Tuhua Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road, 1327·6, 263·7, 623·6, 539·8, 1004·1, 529·5, 272·5, 163·5, 254·6, 268·1, 550·9, 949·8, and 383 links; towards the north-east by a line bearing 154° 12', 415·7 links; towards the south-east by lines bearing 226° 54', 3046 links, and 250° 17', 1128·7 links; and towards the south-west by a public road from Taumarunui to Ongarue, 848·3, 1001·3, and 2634·7 links: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5439/8, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. (Auckland Plan 16127, blue).
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

along the left bank of Murray Creek, towards the south-east generally by a road, and towards the north-west generally by the road along the left bank of the Heaphy River.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Section 9, Block V, Whakapoi Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 8 of said block, towards the south-east by Sections 8 and 10 of said block, towards the west generally by Murray Creek, and towards the north-west by a road.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 38 acres 1 rood, more or less, being Section 8, Block I, Whakapoi Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 7 of the said block; towards the south-east, east, and north-east by the road along the right bank of the Heaphy River; towards the south-west by Section 9 of the before-mentioned Block I; and towards the north-west by a line in prolongation of the north-western boundary-line of Section 9 aforesaid.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 5 perches, more or less, being Section 18, Block I, Whakapoi Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east and south-east by Section 23 of the said block, towards the south-west by the road along the right bank of Gunner Creek, and towards the north generally by the road along the left bank of the Heaphy River; excepting the road, 1 chain wide, which intersects the land included within the above-described boundaries.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 27 acres 2 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Section 29, Block I, Whakapoi Survey District. Bounded towards the south-east by the road forming the north-west boundary of Section 30 of the said block, towards the south-west generally and north-west by the road along the left bank of the Heaphy River, and towards the north-east by the last-mentioned road and the road along the left bank of Gunner Creek.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by admeasurement 54 acres 3 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Section 34, Block I, Whakapoi Survey District. Bounded towards the south-east generally by a road, towards the south generally by Murray Creek, and towards the south-west and north-west by the road along the left bank of the Heaphy River.
As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 5552/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this sixteenth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the Nelson Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange, or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more of the purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, aforesaid, declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column of the said Schedule to that named in the third column of the said Schedule.
