Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres, more or less, being part of Rural Section 2737, situated in Block XVI, Rolleston Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the west side of the Prebbleton-Waimakariri Road, and distant 1202·3 links from the south-east corner of Rural Section 2926; towards the north-east by the said Prebbleton-Waimakariri Road, 700 links; towards the south-east by a straight line, 857·2 links; towards the south-west by a line parallel to the said Prebbleton-Waimakariri Road, 700 links; and towards the north-west by a line parallel to the south-east boundary, 857·2 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1144D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being part of Rural Section 1807, situated in Block IX, Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the north side of the School Road and at the western boundary of Rural Section 1624; towards the south by the said School Road, 769·3 links; towards the west by a line parallel to the western boundary of the said Rural Section 1624, a distance of 650 links; towards the north by a line parallel to the said School Road, 769·3 links, to the west boundary of the said Rural Section 1624; and towards the east by the said boundary of Rural Section 1624, 650 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1144E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Pahi Domain.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of September, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twentieth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-seven, certain powers were delegated to the Pahi Domain Board, no period being specified:

And whereas by section fifty-four of the said Act the period for which the said Board shall hold office will expire on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

ROBERT STERLING;
GEORGE NEW,
REV. FRANCIS LATTER; and
ROBERT STERLING, Jun.;

to be the Pahi Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Pahi as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.


S C H E D U L E.

PAHI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres 2 roods 8 perches, more or less, being Section 102, Suburbs of Pahi (Block III, Hukatere Survey District). Bounded towards the north-west by Section 101, 892 links; towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide, 254·8 and 439·3 links; towards the south-east by Section 103, 1192 links; and towards the south-west by the Arapaoa River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1382, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Declaring Portion of Oliver Road, in the Waikohu County, to be a County Road.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of September, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Waikohu County, known as the Oliver Road, commencing at the suspension-bridge over the Waikohu River on the western frontage of Section 1, Block XVI, Motu Survey District, and proceeding in a southerly direction along the part of the frontage of the said section for a distance of about 73 chains; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 30211, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
