Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Whatawhata Domain.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day
of September, 1911.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from
time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint
such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a
Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act,
control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the
sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and
eleven, the land described in the Schedule hereto was
brought under the operation of and declared to be sub-
ject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act:

And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain
Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Do-
minion, doth hereby appoint

FREDERICK POPE,
WILLIAM LAXON,
WILLIAM SHEPHERD,
FERDINAND STORY,
FRANCIS CAIRD,
JAMES CALDER, and
WILLIAM MAWHINNEY

to be the Whatawhata Domain Board, having the control of
the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the
purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act;
and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the seventh day of
October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half
past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Whata-
whata School as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

WHATAWHATA DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 4 acres, more or less, being Sections
71 to 78, inclusive, and 81 to 88, inclusive, Suburbs of
Whatawhata. Bounded towards the north-east by Sec-
tion 270, Pukete Parish; towards the south-east by a
public road; towards the south-west by a public road;
and towards the north-west by a public road: as the same
is delineated on the plan marked L. 1446/1, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon edged red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Templeton Domain.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth
day of September, 1911.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves
and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the
said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time
to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control
of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the third
day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the
eighth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-eight, certain powers were delegated to the Temple-
ton Domain Board, no period being specified:

And whereas by section fifty-four of the said Act the
period for which the said Board shall hold office will ex-
pire on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the Templeton Domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

ALFRED CHISNALL,
JOHN FREDERICK FRANKS,
ALEXANDER JOHNSTON,
DAVID KINROSS,
GEORGE PHILIP KISSELL,
JAMES LESLIE,
FRANK SAMUEL MADDISON, and
ROBERT SCOTT WATSON,

to be the Templeton Domain Board, having the control of
the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the pur-
poses of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the
said Act; and doth hereby appoint Monday, the ninth
day of October, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at
two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the County
Council office, Yaldhurst, as the place where, the first
meeting of the said Board shall be held.


SCHEDULE.

TEMPLETON DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 106 acres 1 rood, more or less, being
reserve numbered 2351 (in red), Block IX, Christchurch
Survey District. Bounded northward by the terrace form-
ing the southern boundary of Rural Section 8005, also by
Reserve 702; eastward by a road-line; southward by the
terrace forming the northern boundary of Rural Sec-
tion 4069; and westward by a road-line and by reserve
numbered 702: save and excepting thereout reserve num-
bered 326, which is included within the above-described
boundaries: as the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. 1144, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 122 acres 3 roods, more or less,
being Reserve No. 2418 (in red), situated in Block IX,
Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows:
Towards the north by Rural Section 9248, 2750 links, and
by an irregular line being the southern boundary of Rural
Section 3201; towards the east by a road-line, 2457 links;
towards the south and east by Reserve 327 (in red), 1000
links and 967·1 links respectively; towards the south
generally by the northern boundaries of Rural Sections
2773 and 2810; and towards the west by a road-line, 2651·7
links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. 1144A, deposited in the Head Office, De-
partment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
pink.

Also all that area in the Canterbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement 106 acres 1 rood, more or less,
being Reserve No. 2351 (in red), situated in Block IX,
Christchurch Survey District, and bounded as follows:
Towards the north-east by the southern boundary of Rural
Section 8005; towards the east by a road-line, 1970·5 links;
towards the south and east by Reserve No. 326 (in red),
