Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block III, Onewhero Survey District, Pukekohe West Road District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and of the mortgagee of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Pukekohe West Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Onewhero Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this nineteenth day of September, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this fifth day of September, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority of the ratepayers in the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, situated in the County of Manukau, have presented a petition to His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, praying that the said area be constituted a drainage district under the provisions of the said Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the third section of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby constitute and declare the area of land described in the Schedule hereto to be a district for the purposes of Part I of the said Act, and to be called by the name of the “Otawa Drainage District”; and also, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the fourth section of the said Act, doth hereby declare that the Board of Trustees for the said district shall consist of five persons, to be elected as members of the said Board, under and in accordance with the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

OTAWA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, bounded towards the north generally by the northern boundary of Section No. 171, Waiuku West Parish, from the north-eastern corner of Section No. 40 to the road at the north-eastern corner of the said Section No. 171; thence across that road and by the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 170 and 168 to Section No. 163, Waiuku West Parish; thence by that section to a stream at its south-eastern corner; thence across that stream and by the Purapura Township to Section No. 207; thence by the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 207 and 230, Waiuku West Parish, to the Aka-aka Drainage District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 76, of the 17th October, 1895; thence towards the east generally by the said
