SCHEDULE.
Hastings Riding.
Bounded commencing at the mouth of Waikawau Stream; thence by the boundary of the Coromandel County to the Tairua Harbour; thence by the Tairua Harbour to the Hikuwai Stream; thence by that stream to its intersection with Block XI, Whitianga Survey District; thence by that block-line to the north-east corner of said Block XI; thence by the northern boundary-line of said Block XI and of Blocks XVI and XV of Hastings Survey District to the north-west corner of said Block XV, Hastings Survey District; thence by western boundary of said Block XV and of Block II of Thames Survey District to its intersection with the dividing-range between Tararu Stream and Otohi Stream; thence by that dividing-range to Thames Borough boundary at Rocky Point; thence by high-water mark of Firth of Thames to the point of commencement.
Waiotahi Riding.
Bounded commencing at Rocky Point; thence by southern boundary of Hastings Riding to the Hikuwai Stream; thence by that stream to its head; thence by right line to head of Kauaeranga River; thence by that river to the north-eastern corner of Section 5 (reserve) of Block III, Thames Survey District; thence by north-western boundaries of Sections 5, 6, 7, and 8 of said Block III, and by north-western and south-western boundary of Section 9 of Block VI of Thames Survey District to the south-eastern corner of Kauri Timber Company’s 1,277-acre lease; thence by south-eastern boundary of that lease to eastern boundary of Section 2 of Block V of Thames Survey District; thence by that boundary and east and south-eastern boundary of Hape North No. 1 Block to the middle-line of Sealey Street; thence by middle-line of Sealey Street to Rolleston Street; thence by Thames Borough boundary to the point of commencement.
Kauaeranga Riding.
Bounded commencing at south-western corner in Rolleston Street of Waiotahi Riding, thence by south-eastern boundary of that riding to head of Hikuwai Stream, thence by the main dividing-range between Kauaeranga and Tairua Rivers to Mount Kaitarakih (Big), thence by the main dividing-range between Kauaeranga and Kirikiri Streams to the south-eastern corner of Pukiwahine Block, thence by southern boundary of that block and Te Poka No. 1 Block and by western boundary of latter block to Kauaeranga River, thence across the said river and along the water-race overflow reserve on Kauaeranga Branch Road, thence by the water-race reserve to Waikiekie Creek, and thence by that creek to north-eastern corner of Church Mission Society’s land, thence by north-western boundary of that land and of Native land and of Hape South No. 2 Block to Hape Creek, thence by that creek to Rolleston Street, thence by Thames Borough boundary to point of commencement.
Parawai Riding.
Bounded commencing at intersection of Rolleston Street with Hape Creek, thence by boundary of Kauaeranga Riding to the centre-line of Kauaeranga River, thence by the centre-line of that river and the Thames Borough boundary to point of commencement.
Totara Riding.
Bounded commencing at mouth of Kauaeranga River, thence by the boundary of Parawai and Kauaeranga Ridings to north-eastern corner of Taparahi No. 2b Block, thence by eastern and southern boundaries of that block and southern boundary of H.P.L. No. 86 and the Ipu-whakatara Block to the head of Matatoki Stream, thence by that stream and the middle-line of Matatoki Road to the middle-line of Waihou River, thence by middle-line of that river to middle-line of Ngataipua East Road, thence by middle-line of that road to the middle-line of Piako River opposite Pipiroa, thence by middle-line of Piako River and high-water mark of Firth of Thames to point of commencement.
Puriri Riding.
Bounded commencing at a point at the centre of Waihou River opposite the centre of Matatoki Road, thence by south-eastern boundary of Totara Riding to south-eastern corner of Taparahi No. 2b Block, thence by main dividing-range to the head of Omahu Stream, thence by that stream to the middle-line of Waihou River, thence by middle-line of that river to the point of commencement.
Hikutaia Riding.
Bounded commencing at a point at the centre of the Waihou River opposite Omahu Stream, thence by southern boundary of Puriri Riding to main dividing-range, thence by that range to head of Waipaheke Stream, thence by boundary of Ohinemuri County to the centre of Waihou River, thence by middle-line of that river to point of commencement.
Tairua Riding.
Bounded commencing at the mouth of Piako River; thence by boundaries of Totara Riding, Puriri Riding, and Hikutaia Riding to the boundary of Ohinemuri County; thence by southern and western boundaries of Thames County and by high-water mark of Firth of Thames to point of commencement.
Tairua Riding.
Bounded commencing at Coromandel County boundary at Tairua Harbour; thence by the sea to boundary of Ohinemuri County; thence by that boundary to western boundary of Hikutaia Riding; thence by that riding, Puriri Riding, Totara Riding, Kauaeranga Riding, Waiotahi Riding, and Hastings Riding to point of commencement.
The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Thames was affixed hereto this 11th day of August, 1911.
