Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Matire Domain.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of August, 1911.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the seventh day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the tenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, the land described in the Schedule hereto was brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act :
And whereas it appears expedient to appoint a Domain Board to control the domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
JOHN GRAY,
THOMAS HARRY WHITE,
THOMAS WILLS,
ALFRED REGINALD MOORE, and
DOUGLAS CHARLES MORPETH
to be the Matire Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public Hall, Matire, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
MATIRE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 6 acres and 12 perches, more or less, being Suburban Section No. 32, Matire Village, Aria Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Riro Terrace; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, and 1, Block III, Matire Village; towards the south-west by Ohura–Mokau Road; and towards the north-west by Kokako Street: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1480, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain :
And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, certain powers were delegated to the Mangere Domain Board, no period being specified :
And whereas by section fifty-four of the said Act the period for which the said Board shall hold office will expire on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven :
And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the domain :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

as from the twenty-ninth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Mangere Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twentieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past two o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain Board office, Mangere, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

MANGERE DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 95 acres, more or less, being Allotment No. 200 of the Parish of Manurewa (Block V, Otahuhu Survey District). Bounded towards the north-west by Allotment No. 205, the abutment of a public road, and by Allotment No. 206, Manurewa Parish, 2558·6 links; towards the north-east by Allotment No. 201, the abutment of a public road, and Allotments Nos. 207 and 202 of the aforesaid parish, 1788 links; towards the south-east by the abutment of a public road, 100 links wide, and by Allotment No. 203 of the aforesaid parish, 1542 and 853·4 links; again towards the north-east by the abutment of a public road 100 links wide, 123 links; again towards the south-east by Allotments Nos. 46 and 48 of the Suburbs of the Village of Mangere, 854·3 links; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 49 of the aforesaid suburbs, and Allotment No. 204, Manurewa Parish, 969·4 and 1724·8 links; and again towards the north-west by the abutment of a public road 100 links wide, and by Allotment No. 205 of the aforesaid parish, 1286·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1405, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
