Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block III, Maraekakaho, and Block XV, Matapiro Survey Districts, Hawke's Bay County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners and mortgagees of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hawke's Bay County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Maraekakaho and Matapiro Survey Districts described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of August, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Orchard and Garden Diseases Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that on and after the date of the gazetting hereof—

Dacus fascialis,
Dacus virgatus,
Dacus melanotus,
Dacus cucumis,
Dacus tongie,
Dacus Kirki,
Dacus rarotongiensis,
Dacus passiflorae,
Lemon brown rot (Pythiacystis citrophthora),
Lemon bacteriosis,
Currant or gooseberry borer (Aegeria tipuliformis),
Grey scab of lemon (Sporodesmium griseum), and
Gypsy moth (Ocneria dispar)

shall be diseases within the meaning of the said Act; and, with the like advice and consent, doth hereby extend the Second Schedule to the said Act by including the aforesaid diseases therein.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Okotuku Domain.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of August, 1911.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such Domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-third day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-sixth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-five, certain powers were delegated to the Okotuku Domain Board, no period being stated :

And whereas by section fifty-four of the said Act the period for which the said Board shall hold office will expire on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the Okotuku Domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

JAMES DALLOW,
MANLY HORTON WYBOURNE
WILLIAM WILSON, and
OWEN HAWES,

as from the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Okotuku Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at two o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the Town Board Office, Waverley, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE
OKOTUKU DOMAIN.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 159 acres 3 roods 33 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 140 and 338, Block VII, Wairoa Survey District. Bounded towards the south generally by the Ihupuku Road; towards the east by Section No. 136; towards the north generally by a stream, by a line bearing 269° 54' 30", 670 links, part of which forms part of the southern boundary of Section No. 41, and by Section No. 337; and towards the north-west by a public road: save and except that portion of railway reserve which intersects the north-western corner of Section No. 338: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is
