to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control
of such domain :

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the
fifteenth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and
ninety-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of
the twenty-fifth day of May, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-nine, certain powers were delegated to the
Mount Somers Domain Board, no period being specified :

And whereas by section fifty-four of the said Act the
period for which the said Board shall hold office will ex-
pire on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven :

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the Mount Somers Domain :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

WILLIAM THOMAS DOAK,
JOHN McCLIMONT,
EDMOND CHARLES WOOD,
THOMAS MILLER, and
JOHN HOOD,

as from the twenty-sixth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven, to be the Mount Somers Domain
Board, having the control of the land described in the
Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the
provisions of Part II of the said Act; and doth hereby ap-
point Saturday, the ninth day of September, one thousand
nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and the Public Library, Mount Somers,
as the place where, the first meeting of the said Board
shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

MOUNT SOMERS DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Canterbury Land District, containing by
admeasurement 30 acres 1 rood, more or less, being reserve
numbered 1633, situate in Block XV, Alford Survey Dis-
trict, and bounded northward by Reserve 1632, also by the
road forming the southern boundary of that reserve and
Reserve 1631; eastward by the road forming the western
boundary of Rural Section 15202; southward by reserves
numbered 1832 and 2403; and westward by rural section
numbered 27148 : as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 1473, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.

Also all that area in Canterbury Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 91 acres 3 roods, more or less, being
reserve numbered 2639, situate in Block XV, Alford Sur-
vey District, and bounded north-eastward by Rural Sec-
tions 17772 and 17773; south-eastward by Rural Section
26962; south-westward by the terrace of the River Ash-
burton; and north-westward by Rural Section 34048, also
by rural section numbered 17772: save and excepting
thereout Reserve 2028 and a road-line which are included
in the above-described boundaries: as the same is deline-
ated on the plan marked L. 1473A, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered pink.

Declaring Portion of McRae Road in Masterton County
to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
first day of August, 1911.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in
him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and de-
clare that the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council,
become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District,
Masterton County, known as McRae Road, commencing
at its junction with the Fernyhurst Road, and proceeding
in a north-easterly direction generally through and adjoin-
ing S.G. Run 52, Blocks X and XIV, Rewa Survey Dis-
trict, to a point about 30 chains from the northern
boundary of the said S.G. Run 52, being a distance of
2 miles 52 chains, more or less; as the said portion of
road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 30060, deposited in the office of the Minister of
Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provin-
cial District, and thereon marked A B.

Declaring Road in Blocks IV and V, Awa-o-te-atua Survey
District, to be a Government Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-
first day of August, 1911.

Present :

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in
him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Ex-
cellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and
declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto
shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be-
come a Government road.

particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as
above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister
of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial
