IT is hereby publicly notified that the undernamed persons have been duly elected members of the Education Board of the District of Taranaki :—
For the North Ward—
Arthur Herbert Halcombe.
For the East Ward—
William Rogers.
For the West Ward—
John McArthur.
The number of valid votes for each candidate was—
North Ward—
Arthur Herbert Halcombe, elected unopposed.
East Ward—
William Rogers, elected unopposed.
West Ward—

The total number of votes recorded was 139. The total number of votes rejected as informal was 2.

John Petty Aldridge was the only candidate nominated.

For the representation of the Wairarapa Ward Arthur Henry Vile was the only candidate nominated.
I therefore declare JOHN GUTHRIE WOOD AITKEN, HERBERT FREEMAN, and ARTHUR HENRY VILE to have been duly elected members of the Wellington Education Board as representatives of the Wellington City Ward, Hutt-Horowhenua Ward, and Wairarapa Ward respectively.
