Election of Members.
THOMAS WILLIAM ADAMS and no other person having been duly nominated as member of the Education Board of the District of North Canterbury in respect of the North Ward, Charles Henry Adolphus Truscott Opie and no other person having been nominated in respect of the Central Ward, and George Rennie and no other person having been nominated in respect of the South Ward, I hereby declare the said THOMAS WILLIAM ADAMS to be duly elected member of the said Board for the North Ward, CHARLES HENRY ADOLPHUS TRUSCOTT OPIE to be duly elected member of the said Board for the Central Ward, and GEORGE RENNIE to be duly elected member of the said Board for the South Ward.

Situated on the Sawyer’s Arms Road, near Papanui, about two miles and a quarter from the tramway terminus and railway-station at Papanui, and about five miles from Christchurch Post-office. Open, level agricultural land, with black soil on a sandy clay subsoil; excellently adapted for fruit-growing, market gardening, or small farming; the land is in good order, laid down in clover and grass.

Situated respectively about two miles and one mile north-westward from Templeton Railway-station, which is nine miles from Christchurch on the Christchurch-Dunedin Main Trunk Railway line. Open, level agricultural land, Section 5 consisting of good light soil in grass, and Section 17 of rich land in wheat stubble. The improvements, which are included in the price of the sections, are as follows: Section 5, 197½ chains of boundary and subdivision fencing, valued at £90 8s.; Section 17, 16 chains of boundary-fencing, valued at £6.
