NEW ZEALAND.—PORT NICHOLSON.—WORSER BAY.

The w.m. limit of exam. anchorage is now defined by a line N. 21° W. from the centre of Steeple Rk. (41° 19½′ S., 174° 50⅓′ E.) for a dist. of 9½ cables, when it is terminated by the n.m. limit shown on Chart No. 1423. March.

CALIFORNIA.

PIEDRAS BLANCAS LIGHT-STATION.—FOG-SIGNAL CHANGED.—Referring to Notice to Mariners No. 17 (1087) of 1911, further notice is given that on 1st June, 1911, the fog-whistle at Piedras Blancas Light-station, California, was replaced by a first-class fog-siren operated by compressed air.

Approx. position: Lat. 35° 39′ 57″ N., long. 121° 17′ 1″ W.

SAN FRANCISCO BAY ENTRANCE.—FORT POINT LEDGE BUOY CHANGED.—Referring to Notice to Mariners No. 20 (1303) of 1911, further notice is given that on 6th June, 1911, Fort Point Ledge buoy 2, San Francisco Bay entrance, California, was changed from a mammoth nun to a first-class tall-type nun, without other change.

Approx. position: Lat. 37° 48′ 50″ N., long. 122° 28′ 50″ W.

POINT ARENA LIGHT-STATION.—FOG-SIGNAL CHANGED.—Referring to Notice to Mariners No. 17 (1086) of 1911, further notice is given that on 1st June, 1911, the fog-signal at Point Arena Light-station, California, was changed from a steam-whistle to a first-class siren, operated by compressed air, which will sound 4 blasts of 2 seconds duration every minute—thus, blast 2 seconds, silent interval 8 seconds; blast 2 seconds, silent interval 8 seconds; blast 2 seconds, silent interval 8 seconds; blast
