Grey District comprises Reefton Riding of Inangahua County; that portion of Crushington Riding lying to the south-west of the road which runs generally south-easterly from Reefton to the saddle near Trig. Station B in Block II, Waitahu Survey District; the northern portion of Antonio’s Riding lying to the north-west of a right line running from Trig. Station P in Block X, Waitahu Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 86, school reserve, Blackwater Township; thence along the eastern boundary of Blackwater Township and a right line to the easternmost corner of Section No. 11, Block IV, Ahaura Survey District, and along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the Grey River: together with that portion of Grey County lying to the north of the Grey River and west of Otututu River, and that portion of the Borough of Brunner lying to the north of the Grey River. This district also includes the Borough of Greymouth.

WESTLAND.

Westland District comprises the whole of Westland County, together with Grey County, except that portion which lies north of the Grey River and west of the Otututu River, and also that portion of Antonio’s Riding of Inangahua County lying to the south-east of a right line running from Trig. Station P in Block X, Waitahu Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of Section No. 86, school reserve, Blackwater Township; thence along the south-eastern boundary of that township, a right line to the easternmost corner of Section No. 11, Block IV, Ahaura Survey District, and along the south-eastern boundary of that section to the Grey River. This district also includes that portion of the Borough of Brunner lying to the south of the Grey River, and the Boroughs of Hokitika, Ross, and Kumara.

WAIRAU.

Wairau District comprises the existing Wairau Electorate, together with that portion of Sounds County lying to the east of Pelorus Sound.

HURUNUI.

Hurunui District comprises the Counties of Amuri, Kaikoura, Cheviot, and Waipara, together with the Cass Riding of Tawera County, Kowai and Mount Thomas Ridings of Ashley County, and Oxford Riding, less that portion lying to the east of the railway-line from the Waimakariri River at Bexley to East Oxford, thence along Bay Road, Sales Road, and Ashley Gorge Road to the Ashley River.

KAIAPOI.

Kaipoi District comprises Manderville, Eyreton, West Eyreton, and Cust Ridings of Ashley County, and that part of Oxford Riding lying to the east of the railway-line from the Waimakariri River at Bexley to East Oxford; thence along Bay Road, Sales Road, and Ashley Gorge Road to the Ashley River: together with the Styx, Belfast, and Marshland Ridings of Waimairi County.

CHRISTCHURCH NORTH.

Christchurch North District comprises the existing Christchurch North Electorate unaltered.

CHRISTCHURCH EAST.

Christchurch East District is bounded towards the north by Salisbury Street from Colombo Street to the River Avon; thence by the River Avon to Fitzgerald Avenue; thence towards the east by Fitzgerald Avenue to Lower High Street; thence by Lower High Street to Wilson’s Road; thence by Wilson’s Road to Charles Street; thence by Charles Street to Grafton Street; thence by Grafton Street to Lower High Street; thence by Lower High Street to Ensor’s Road; thence by Ensor’s Road to the Lyttelton Railway line; thence by the said railway-line to Wilson’s Road; thence by Wilson’s Road to Langdown Street; thence by Langdown Street to Rogers Street; thence by that street to Huxley Street; thence by Huxley Street to Croydon Street; thence by that street to Southampton Street; thence by Southampton Street to Montrose Street; thence by that street to Huxley Street; thence by that street to Colombo Street; and thence towards the west by Colombo Street to Salisbury Street.

CHRISTCHURCH SOUTH.

Christchurch South District is bounded towards the north by Christchurch North Electoral District; towards the east by Christchurch East Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Heathcote River; thence towards the south by that river to Barrington Road; thence by that road to Conway Street; thence by that street to Lyttelton Street; thence towards the west by Lyttelton Street and Hellewell Street to Lincoln Road; thence by that road to Moorhouse Avenue; thence by the western extension of Moorhouse Avenue to the West Belt; and thence by the West Belt to the boundary of Christchurch North Electorate.

AVON.

Avon District comprises the Avon Riding of Waimairi County, the Avonside and Bromley Ridings of Heathcote County, and the Borough of New Brighton, together with that part of the City of Christchurch bounded towards the south-east by the Borough of Woolston; towards the south-west and west by Christchurch East District and Christchurch North District.

SELWYN.

Selwyn District comprises the whole of Selwyn County, together with Kowai Bush and Springfield Ridings of Tawera County, Homebush Riding of Malvern County, Sheffield Riding less that portion lying eastward of the Oxford—Sheffield and Sheffield—Darfield Railway lines, and that portion of Courtenay Riding of Malvern County lying west of the Hawkins River from the Selwyn River to the Whitecliffs Railway line, the railway-line to Darfield, and the Darfield—Springfield Railway line to the western boundary of Courtenay Riding. This district also includes the Mount Somers, Mount Hutt, South Rakaia, Wakanui, and Upper Ashburton Ridings of Ashburton County, and that portion of Rangitata Riding lying to the west of the Rangitata Bridge to Meyfield and Mount Somers Road: excluding the Town Districts of Hampstead and Tinwald.

RICCARTON.

Riccarton District comprises all that portion of Malvern County not included in Selwyn Electorate, together with the West Melton and Yaldhurst Ridings of Paparua County, that part of Templeton Riding lying north of the main South Road, Islington Riding less that portion lying south of the main South Road and south-west of Halswell Junction Road and Sockburn Riding, excepting Rural Sections Nos. 1581 and 2642. This district also includes the Harewood, Papanui, Middleton, Fendalton, and that part of Riccarton Riding not included in Christchurch North and Christchurch South Electorates.

LYTTELTON.

Lyttelton District comprises Mount Herbert County; Port Levy, Okain’s Bay, and Le Bon’s Bay Ridings of Akaroa County; the Boroughs of Lyttelton, Sumner, and Woolston; Opawa, Hillsborough, Heathcote Valley, Martins, and Cashmere Ridings of Heathcote County; together with that part of Halswell County lying east of the following boundary: Hoon Hay Road from plantation and road reserve at Cashmere to the northernmost corner of Rural Section No. 1325; thence along the road forming the western boundaries of Rural Sections Nos. 1325, 2063, 31362, 31363, 2231, intersecting Rural Sections Nos. 10210 and 493; thence to the northernmost corner of Rural Section No. 338, along the road forming the north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of that section, and to the easternmost corner of Rural Section No. 491. This district also includes that part of the Borough of Spreydon lying south-west of Barrington Road and south-east of Conway Street to Lyttelton Street, along Lyttelton Street to Rose Street, and along that street to the borough boundary.

ELLESMERE.

Ellesmere District comprises the Counties of Ellesmere, Springs, and Wairewa; the Wainui Riding of Akaroa County; the Borough of Akaroa; and that part of the Borough of Spreydon not included in the Christchurch South and Lyttelton Electorates, and that portion of Paparua County not included in the Riccarton Electoral District; together with the Halswell County, excepting that portion included in the Lyttelton Electorate.

ASHBURTON.

Ashburton District comprises that portion of the Ashburton County not included in the Selwyn Electoral District; the whole of Geraldine County, less that portion lying to the east of Hae-Hae-te-Moana River from its confluence with the Opihi to the southern boundary of the
