Raukapuka Riding; by the southern boundary of that riding to the Southern Trunk Railway-line; by Allotments Nos. 2, 3, 4, 5, Block X, and 6 of Reserve No. 2645, Block XI, Geraldine Survey District, to the Orari River; and by that river to the ocean. This district includes the Boroughs of Ashburton and Geraldine, and Town Districts of Tinwald and Hampstead.

TIMARU.

Timaru District comprises that portion of the Seadown Riding of Levels County lying to the south of the road forming the southern boundaries of Rural Sections Nos. 19856, 12846, 12167, 3963, 3903, 23225, 14574, 21370, 20966, 20817, and 22161 to Levels Plains, Middle Road, and to the west of that road; and that part of the Waimataiti Riding lying south of the road forming the northern boundaries of Rural Sections Nos. 5476, 13965, 14834, 14197, 14305, and 11195, the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 7 and 6 of Papaka Settlement, Reserve 3533, and Rural Sections Nos. 13782, 13781, 14665, and that road continued to the western boundary of the said Waimataiti Riding; also that portion of the Claremont Riding lying to the east of Brockley Road. This district also includes the Gleniti and Otipua Ridings of the said Levels County, and the Borough of Timaru.

GERALDINE.

Geraldine District comprises the whole of Mackenzie County; the Tengawai and Point Ridings of Levels County; that portion of Claremont Riding included in the existing Geraldine Electorate; and those parts of Waimataiti and Seadown Ridings not included in the Timaru District hereinbefore described; together with those parts of Hakataramea and North Waihao Ridings of Waimate County included in the existing Geraldine Electorate, the whole of the Upper Pareora, Lower Pareora, Otaio, and Makikihii Ridings of Waimate County, and that part of Deep Creek Riding lying to the north of the Waihao Forks Railway line, and that portion of Geraldine County not included in the Ashburton Electorate.

WAITAKI.

Waitaki District comprises those portions of Hakataramea and North Waihao Ridings of Waimate County included in the existing Waitaki Electorate; that portion of Deep Creek Riding lying to the south-east of the Waihao Forks Railway line and east of the Main Trunk Railway line; together with the Borough of Waimate, the Ahuriri, Otekaike, Awamoko, Papakaio, Waiareka, and Incholme Ridings of Waitaki County, that portion of Kakanui Riding lying to the west of the Main Trunk Railway line, and that portion of Otepopo Riding lying to the west of the Hampden-Maheno main road: excluding the Towns of Herbert and Maheno.

OAMARU.

Oamaru District comprises the Borough of Oamaru; that portion of Kakanui Riding of Waitaki County lying east of the Main Trunk Railway line; that portion of Otepopo Riding lying to the east of the main South Road, including the whole of the Towns of Maheno and Herbert; the whole of Moeraki Riding of the said Waitaki County; and the Borough of Hampden; together with Waihemo County, the Borough of Palmerston, the Hawksbury and Merton Ridings of Waikouaiti County, the whole of Blueskin Riding except that portion lying to the east of a line along the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 10, 13, 15, 17, 18, 19, 51, 53, 56, 57, and 66, Block I, North Harbour and Blueskin Survey District, intersecting Section No. 1, Block VI, forming the eastern boundary of Sections Nos. 90 and 72, Block VII, and along the eastern boundary of Section No. 73, Block VII aforesaid. This district also includes the Borough of Waikouaiti.

OTAGO CENTRAL.

Otago Central District comprises Maniototo County and the Borough of Naseby; Strath Taieri, Maungatua and Outram Ridings of Taieri County; and the whole of Deep Stream Riding except that portion lying east of Silverstream; Matakana and Manuherikia Ridings of Vincent County; the whole of Dunstan Riding except the Town of Clyde; together with the Borough of Alexandra and the eastern portion of Earnscleugh Riding lying east of the eastern watersheds of the Fraser River and Omeo Creek, and the extension of the track along the said watersheds to the eastern boundary of Section No. 2, Block III, Fraser Survey District, and lying south of Sections Nos. 2 and 1, said Block III, and Sections Nos. 2, 3, and 4, Block I, Fraser Survey District. This district also includes Teviot, Benger, and Crookston Ridings of

Tuapeka County, that portion of Tapanui Riding in the existing Tuapeka Electorate, that portion of Gabriel’s Riding west of the Beaumont River, and that portion of Beaumont Riding lying north of Blocks I, XVI, and XIV, Crookston Survey District; together with the Glenkenich Riding of Clutha County, and the Borough of Roxburgh.

DUNEDIN NORTH.

Dunedin North District comprises the Borough of Maori Hill and that part of the City of Dunedin lying north of a line along Argyle Street to Elder Street, along Elder Street to Pitt Street, along Pitt Street to Frederick Street, along Frederick Street to King Street, along King Street to Albany Street, along Albany Street to the railway-line, along the railway-line southwards to the southern boundary of the existing Dunedin North Electorate, and along that boundary to Otago Harbour.

DUNEDIN WEST.

Dunedin West District comprises the Borough of Roslyn and that portion of the City of Dunedin bounded towards the north by Dunedin North District hereinbefore described; towards the east by Otago Harbour to a point in line with the middle of Stuart Street; thence towards the south generally by a right line to and along the middle of Stuart Street to High Street, and by High Street to Dowling Street, by Dowling Street to Canongate Street, by Canongate Street to Duncan Street, by Duncan Street to York Place, and by York Place to a point in line with the southern boundary of the Borough of Roslyn, and by a right line to the Borough of Roslyn.

DUNEDIN CENTRAL.

This district comprises the Boroughs of Green Island and Mornington, and that portion of Dunedin City bounded towards the north by the Dunedin West Electoral District hereinbefore described; towards the south-east by the Otago Harbour to a point in line with the middle of Park Street; thence towards the south by a right line to and along the middle of Park Street to the railway-line; thence by the railway-line to Ferguson Street; by Ferguson Street to Caversham Valley Road; by Caversham Valley Road to the Green Island Borough boundary.

DUNEDIN SOUTH.

This district is bounded towards the north generally by the main South Road from a point where it crosses the Kaikorai River to the Green Island Borough; thence by the Dunedin Central Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the Otago Harbour; thence towards the east by the Otago Harbour and the City of Dunedin boundary to the Borough of St. Kilda; thence by the eastern and southern boundaries of the last-named borough to the ocean; thence towards the south by the ocean to a point in line with the road forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 155, Green Island Bush Survey District; thence by a right line to the middle of the last-mentioned road, and by that road to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Section No. 125; by a right line to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section, and by the south-western boundary-line of the said Section No. 125 to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 120; again towards the south generally by the south-eastern boundaries of the last-mentioned section and Sections Nos. 121, 122, and 123 to the south-western corner of the last-mentioned section; by the south-western boundary of the said Section No. 123 and Section No. 124 to the road forming the north-western boundary of the last-mentioned section; across that road; again towards the south-east generally by the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 74, 36, and 43 to the south-western corner of Section No. 64; by the south-western boundary-line of the last-mentioned section to the road forming the north-eastern boundary of Section No. 55; thence towards the south-east by the last-mentioned road to the Kaikorai River, and by the said Kaikorai River to the place of commencement.

CHALMERS.

Chalmers District is bounded towards the south-west by the Taieri River to the Otago Central Electoral District, hereinbefore described; towards the north generally by the last-mentioned electoral district and the Oamaru Electoral District, hereinbefore described, to the ocean; towards the east and south generally by the ocean to the said Taieri River, the place of commencement: excluding the Dunedin North, Dunedin West, Dunedin Central, and Dunedin South Electoral Districts, hereinbefore described.
